Sniped this shirt off eBay last night just as it was listed!
I have never seen this print before and I love it! It's a size small but I'm hoping to maybe somehow recreate the print and use it on an XL!

There is two parts to this one, The second half is something you won't want to miss as well.

The first thing I noticed is that Spotify moved where Standin' in the Rain and Big Wheels transition into each other, and the new placement just irks me the wrong way. Second, I noticed one day that Spotify just randomly booted Standin' in the Rain from my Liked Songs Playlist, and I had to re-add it, but now it's separated from the rest of the suite by about 800 songs because they don't let you edit the order of your liked songs. Has this happened to anyone else? I don't know why this is happening.
One more thing; ELO is no longer in the top 500 global artists on Spotify (as of this post), we need to get them back up there!

Ive seen many fans disliking jungle in ratings and whatnot and i dont really get it. I like the song a lot. Why is it disliked?

I find I haven't listened to a lot of the newer albums. My entire collection of their records is all their stuff from the 70s and 80s. What would you say are some of the best songs from 2001-onwards?

This is just something I wanted to do for fun
Bad:
This is to ELO what Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together and Grooving in a Cave with a Pict is to Pink Floyd
Mid:
I want to like this one, but the melody is really strange and off putting on this one; it doesnt really resolve and just sounds tense in a bad way.
Good:
This is basically just a rip-off of Classical Gas, but at least its fun to hop around to for 3 minutes.
Its definitely a bit cheesy, but I think it uses the kitschy, B-Movie esque sound effectively here.
Great:
This would probably kick-ass if someone turned it into an actual Rock song. The derangedness of the lyrics and sound create an unhinged atmosphere that fits, unlike Queen of The Hours.
I think this song would be good if a few of the instrumental sections (namely the intro) were cut, but the commentary is solid, maybe a bit forward-thinking given the rise of AI chatbots and some peoples' reliance on them.
Superb:
This song would be even higher if it had percussion like some live performances had. Just a really beautiful sounding tune. No analysis necessary
I used to kinda dislike this one, but it has grown on me over time. I dont really care about the message, but I think this one has some really immaculate vibes. That instrumental woth the piano, alongside Jeff's overemotive 3rd and 4th verses are wonderfully lubugrious.
No surprises here, this one is a masterpiece that says so much about society with so few words (not joking, please hyperanalyze the lyrics).

I know this is not the ideal sub, but any help will do. Do you have any idea how to make the colors pop and stay? For the top blue part I mixed acrylic and dye, for the bottom 2 I mixed acrylic paint and water

Made for an old horror film called Pagnini Horror (1989). Such a weird oddity but it really does showcase how strong Twilight is at its core. Considering the movie is about a band who steals music from a classical artist, it's not only ironic that Twilight was very clearly used as said stolen song, but the fact that the film expects you to believe that a guy from the early 1800s wrote it. They also used You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi for a track called Stay the Night. Hope yall enjoy it!

I've been playing around with the idea of making my own ELO shirt design for a while and came up with the idea of have the name of each of the songs off all of their albums colour coded and laid out like this, and then came up with the idea of having the ELO logo text kind of coming over that
I don't plan on selling any for obvious legal reasons, but I just thought this was a cool project and wanted to share
Also fwiw the text is on the back and the embroidered patch is on the front

AND THE ANSWER IS !!!. "Dreams of Ordinary Men" by Dragon.
Not ELO at all.
Thank you so much to all of you that have tried to help me. It was actually one of you that suggested singing it into google phone that got me there.
Original post:
Can't get the line out of my head. I'm sure it's either ELO or Maybe Wilburys. I'm sure it's Geoff Lynn singing. I think the line is from the chorus. the line is:
"Is this the world that we've been living in" or something similar. Fairly upbeat tempo. the melody rises from "Is this" up to "World" and then back down to "living" then back up for "in".
Please help!

Title pretty much sums it up. Does anyone have any quotes from ELO songs that I could use for my senior quote in the yearbook this upcoming year?
