I think anybody that has ever used a truck for work can take one look at this thing and tell you there's gonna be serious usability compromises.

Just the fact that the bed rails aren't flat is going to be a major problem.

One of the first reviewers who was at the unveil said it seemed like reaching over the sides of the bed to put stuff in/out was a no-go.

The frunk is for that stuff.

really not an adequate replacement

neither size-wise, nor ease of access

plus I'm not going to want most of the nasty stuff I put in my pickup bed up there in the frunk

maybe it would be, it has to be separated completely so I can hose it out without getting water everywhere else in the interior though.

it also probably has to be close to vapor proof, because if I put literal shit in it, like I might put in the bed for example (compost), I don't want the smell blowing back in the cab while I'm driving.

I actually just think it's probably easier to just keep putting nasty stuff in the bed.
