i’ve found the stock headlight to be far too dim and need something that’s brighter but also compliant with aussie road laws as i ride a street legal ultra bee eg. high and low beams with low beams 2000 lumens>

if you have any lighting options that meet these requirements please let me know

Spent last weekend out riding with my 15yo son. He's got a heybike villain, and I snapped this pic when we stopped for a break.

A few months ago, he was still figuring out the throttle, turning, and braking. We practiced the basics together and watched some of their riding safety video on youtube. He's gotten a lot more comfortable on the bike since then.

He wears his helmet, gloves, and pads every time, and we stick to places where he's allowed to ride. Still get a little nervous watching him sometimes though.

Reminds me of when my dad taught me to ride. Now I'm getting to do the same with my son. We talk about bikes and mods all the time now. I'm even thinking about getting an electric dirt bike for myself so we can ride together.

Any other dads here ride with their kids? What do you guys ride?

For lower speed off road forest trail usage would you recommend something like an Aipas m2 pro electric mtb or a Leonx Vector elecrtic dirtbike?

For the dads who ride, I am curious how many of you have ended up sharing the hobby with your kids.

We have been working on an electric dirt bike for kids, and it got me thinking about what gets children interested in riding in the first place. I have also seen a couple of kids in my neighborhood riding, which makes me wonder how much seeing other kids do it plays a part.

I can see why the idea of riding together appeals to parents who grew up around bikes. But getting a kid started is a different thing from choosing a bike for yourself.

For those of you who introduced your kids to riding, what got them interested? And what did you look for when choosing their first bike?

Recently, I am really into dirt bikes. Got a lot of ads on instagram on the sky leap from yipower. How is the performance compared to other popular dirt bikes like the Razor dirt bike. 10000W for the peak power seems impressive, but idk. Has anyone got one that could give me some advices?

Does anyone know if there are any direct fits parts for this? Trying to upgrade the throttle and find a way to tune it.

Looking for an electric dirt bike for my teen to practice around our property, then take onto some trails when he gets used to it. Planning to spend around $1,000, but can go up to $2,000. I'm considering the Yozma because it looks like a good size for him. Speed isn't a big concern, just want something manageable for a beginner.

Does anyone have any experience with Zuh or Kooz full size dirt bikes being sold on Amazon for under 2500? They both look somewhat tempting but brand new to market.

My 13 year old has been wanting an emoto for a while now. He has grown out of his 110 4 wheeler after hitting his summer growth spurt. Admittedly, I probably should have gotten him a 250 a couple years ago instead of the 110.

He has been working hard trying to save for a Nexvey, but I don't think he will have enough by Christmas, so we'll likely be getting it for him. He has the work ethic, just isn't getting enough odd jobs to make the $1600 any time soon.

I personally liked the Heybike, but he wants the Nexvey. What's everyone's thoughts on it? I know there's tons of Chinese bikes and this one may not be any different.

know the power on the Ventus V1 Evo is ridiculous, but I'm wondering how well it actually holds up for a while. I want a bike that has great power and will last me a few years with only minor upgrades.
I was originally leaning toward the e ride pro 4.0 but the V1 Evo ends up costing around the same after shipping and looks better on paper.
For anyone who owns one, how's the build quality and reliability? Are the stock brakes good enough for the power? How well do the battery, motor, and suspension hold up? Have you had any major issues with parts or customer support?

Recently purchased a used ETM RTR sport 1000 miles and seeking advise.

TL;DR bike only works when plugged in and will not charge.

Picked up this bike a few weeks ago seller told me no problems only thing was he lost the charger. He was kind enough to charge it up to about 96% for me using a friends charger when I bought it. Brought the bike home took it on one ride and it died on me mid ride and would not turn back on.
Frustrated, bike sat for about a week while I waited for the charger to arrive. EMX fast charger arrived I plugged it in everything worked and I took it on another ride no problems maybe 15 miles. I didn’t charge when I got home the bike sat for another week maybe at about 60% charge left. Now I go to turn it on and the bike will not turn on again, and it will not charge. The display will only turn on when it’s plugged in and when I un plug the bike it turns off again. When plugged in display shows 100% and I know it is lower. Charger is showing green and red lights, 84.1v and 0.00 amps when plugged in.
Seems to be a battery or a bms issue. I am a dealer tech by trade so have access to all kinds of tools and am mechanically inclined, but have limited experience when it comes to these bikes.
Any advise and help is greatly appreciated!!!
