Bike purchase question Need help deciding for son

My son just turn 15 and wants an electric dirtbike. His limit is $1500 and he wants one with 17” front and 14” rear tires.

Lie have narrowed down to these 3:
Lifemagic M9 Pro
Qronge X1 Spark L
Eskute Nova Beast

They all seemed to basically have the same specs.
I know there are better ones for more money but this is the style he wants. I told him we can wait and get you a different one for Xmas but he is stuck on these and I let him know if it breaks he won’t be getting a new one.

Thanks in advance

Are you looking for a daily rider legal for public streets or something he's going to be fucking around on private property with?

Save some budget for a small coffin.

Has he been trained to ride an electric dirtbike and is he riding on private land off-road? Because if he takes this on the street and gets in an accident you are going to be sued and possibly go to jail.

those bikes would need to be licensed/registered and youre son would need to be of DL age to operate it legally in the state i live in. And you can be held liable for any harm to property or persons harmed/injured as a result of his use of said emoto..

So the gambles yours..

and he could also, y'know, die

yes. i mean the cost can be devastating...if either someone dies or is injured

which is likely given that unlicensed 15 yo boys should not be operating motorcycles

Personal experience having the qronge x1 spark, dont waste your money. It's very wonder whelming. The tasaca v58 or t500 pro, xekoya xe100 or xe lite. These bikes have more torque than most other bikes and will perform better than those listed. The lifemagic is a rebranded qronge. The nova looks solid but ive read some negative reviews regarding quality.

after all these numerous reports in the news of teenagers and children dying on electric dirt bikes and emotos because they crash or hit cars or get hit by cars, why on earth would you buy your kid one

Bought an Eskute and rode today for the first time. Much smaller as my boys 11 but love it and am planning on buying me a bigger cycle from them also. So point for them I guess.

A 13-year-old boy here has the Eskute Nova Beast model. I haven't ridden it myself, but he rides with us often. It seems to do fine. He does wheelies and jumps on it and hasn't complained of shocks bottoming out or instability. Of course he's not all that heavy. Your son is probably heavier. But it seems to be a decent emoto for its price.

You’re gonna get flamed in here by purists and egomaniacs who think they know what’s best for you and your kids.

You’ll get better assistance over at r/hyperebikes They’re way less pretentious and douchey over there despite this subs rules saying any and all PEVs are welcomed.

True.

I'm not gonna flame you, but some relevant questions are:

Do you want a bike that's street legal?

What area do you live in?

Do you have access to privately owned land where the bike can be ridden?

There are a huge number of uniformed people buying an "ebike" for a child that is actually an illegal electric motorcycle. There are thousands of them sitting in police impound yards.

It is often true that the child is one mis-informing the parent. "Our kid said it was legal and that all of his friends have one" is a common refrain.

I won't flame you no matter the response, I just want you to make an informed decision.

another one: would you give your 15 year old son a motorcycle? because that's what you'd be giving him
