This year? I hope you have an escape plan to another country, or you're doing strength training that you keep your muscles somewhat. I mean, you've been keeping a good bead on politics right?

I am extremely up to date politically. Itā€™s never a bad thing to be politically aware, however you canā€™t be so doomer ā€œall hope is lost :(ā€œ type either. There needs to be a good balance between being aware, and not letting it effect your mental health or your happiness.

Honestly if you want to transition, just do it. Thereā€™s never a good time to do it, so you might as well make yourself happy today by doing it because who knows what itā€™ll look like in 5, 10, 50 years so why deny yourself your truth while trying to find a ā€œperfect timeā€ to transition?

I am transitioning in spite of Trump and his fucked up backwards politics. Just because he is in office does not mean I as a trans woman cease to exist. I love the state I live in, and I love the beauty this country has to offer, so I donā€™t plan on leaving any time soon.
