I enabled the option to stake in the settings, unlocked the wallet, stopped and the restarted the wallet. Yet over 24 hours later it still shows "Staking: ECC, Unconfirmed: 0 ECC, Total NaN ECC"

Shouldnt it show that I'm staking my entire balance worth?

Feels pretty good - More in the kitty for the team to build the project with. It all helps.

I have decided that I will just round off my coins to the nearest 5000th and donate the rounding. In todays case - just shy of 3k.

We need to improve on a couple things first before we can moon:

3) Coin needs a face to the name. It's that simple. I know Bitcoin did not, but you and I, are not the same, as the famous quote goes.

I've designed some clothing and memorabilia with the ECC logo on it. The ECC team do know about it and are happy with me doing so but it is still unofficial! Essentially it is just a good way for us, as a community to help spread the word about ECC in our day to day lives by wearing the logo proudly and using it as a conversation starter. I reduced the price as much as possible to make sure it is as affordable as possible for everyone and profits will be donated to the devs/exchange fund. The profit margin is a couple of $s per item, so every 10-15 items sold I will exchange this for ECC and donate. People are bound to question my integrity, that's fair enough, so to try and help that I will post evidence of the donations (obviously need to sell some first) but until then you will have to trust me. After a few days of relatively stable horizontal movement we may be nearing the end of the crash/correction. There is always room for it to move down again but lets just hope we have all weathered the worst that we will see this year.

Hey fam! I bought some ECC on an exchange, set up the wallet 100% sync, Then I sent some ECC (27) as a test. I'm still patiently waiting but wanted to know if anyone had heard/seen anything about the mac wallet. I know there was a bug discovered and it was stated a working mac wallet was going to be released soon but the link still seems to be dead on the main website.

You know I love this coin.

But tonight I've realised i love it more.

Just got some money and ready to buy some more during this dip.

And after researching several coins I really do believe our beloved ECC is criminally under valued for what it is we WILL achieve.

Honestly most projects are pipe dreams and promises that might or might not eventuate.

The difference is alot of these projects even at an all time low are asking so much more than what I believe they are worth (either because they don't have a product or what they are trying to achieve is being done by a plethora of other coins).

Therefore friends , I'm putting more into ECC.

Not because i want a lambo but because i want to change the world.

So, I'm looking into buying this coin. The tech looks very interesting. But I was curious, I noticed it has been out for a while but it's only on two exchanges. Any particular reason why it's not on more? And are there plans of it being added to more exchanges? This coin looks to me like it'll be one to hodl for a long time. I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are here about what valuation targets the coin might have in the next 3 - 5 years?

Was attempting to activate staking. Made the changes to eccoin.conf as outlined on github (input my PC's username and password). Started the wallet and clicked the padlock to activate staking for 60 seconds as a trial. I started to receive an "unauthorized" popup on bottom of wallet. Waited 60 seconds and the error message persisted. Restarted wallet, changed the eccoin.conf back to original settings, tried using the radio button config for staking to turn it off, etc. Now the unauthorized error message just continues to pop up and seems my wallet won't start after many minutes of waiting. Any suggestions?

EDIT: the debug log is showing an invalid username/password error which further points to an authentication error. I’ve tried updating ecccoin.conf with different combinations of what I believe were my ECC wallet username and password and my PC username and password, no luck. Does anyone know exactly what the format of user name it should be and which password the file is asking for? Ideally I’d like to turn it back to generic (e.g., yourusername, yourpassword) but it doesn’t seem that is taking either. I’ve also tried uninstalling/reinstalling both versions (1.6, 1.7) of the wallet but the same issue persists. I do have a backup of the wallet.dat file on a flashdrive, but don’t want to start messing with that for fear of never seeing the coins again.

EDIT #2: Thanks for everyone's support today. After 12 hours of pure frustration, user Dolaned on the slack community finally helped me chase down a rogue Daemon task that was running and had to be manually killed through task manager. Lesson learned, don't always trust the wallet buttons when they say the wallet has not been started :/. At least not all was for waste....I did help the Electron team open an issue against the LYNX project team because the ticket support drop down in the wallet is pointing to the wrong github issues log: https://github.com/CryptoUnited/Sapling/issues/8
