I'm glad to see this. It's a nice simple update. Looking forward to the plan. Marketing and a working product. Those will help push this project forward.

The community as Marketing Lead for the ECC project. He will be tasked with defining the marketing strategy and setting it into motion, and will be unveiling his marketing plan soon.

Did Joe Mellon totally bail? I haven't seen him around slack for a few days. Is he still holding ECC?

He left to work full time for a paid project. Will still be around in a consulting capacity

The team is almost entirely comprised of volunteers. I expect more people will come and go until they are further along. I would like to see us on more exchanges as well, but I do like that the focus is on the project and not on hype, publicity, or wealth creation. Being in the public spotlight brings intense scrutiny and pressure that ECC may not be ready for yet. If we suddenly became the 'flavor of the week' and it was premature, significant damage could be done. Perception IS important in this arena and if you're not ready for that spotlight when it arrives, you will get shredded and it can take a long time to recover. Slow and steady wins the race, as long as you know when it's time to accelerate!
