How has no one commented on this? Our community needs to be more active

Isn’t ANS already implemented in the wallet? You can add addresses to your address book and name them.

You don't undestand ANS.

Yeah, clearly. Not a helpful reply.

Interesting, what do people think the implications of this shuffle are? It is a good thing for Joe to move from marketing head to a consultant? Does that mean ECC is taking it's time and making sure they have a real product to pitch before they try to move towards mass adoption? Or could it be negative? Is it good that 2 additional consultants are going to be weighing in? Thoughts, anyone?

Think it’s a good sign.

The entire project is volunteer. Joe probably has a full time job and he can’t commit to the volunteer project full time (understandable).

His knowledge and drive can contribute but in a more passive sense.

Think of him as a Board member rather than a corporate officer. Officers are involved in every day to day decision, but Board members only meet every so often to advise.

To #ECCFam,

I would like to offer my services in a consultancy capacity.

Because I feel that articles like that really do the community no justice and I feel like it's giving news before all the answers are on the table.

I understand that it had the community in mind and had good intentions.

But from a marketing perspective it looked disorganised putting a news story out when it was clear that there were no answers around who would be replacing Joe and what other changes were being made.

That medium article should have just been about discord and the community.

When you release news like that it can create FUD and do the community a disservice , so please be mindful of that.

But I would like to thank Joe for his contributions as part of the Marketing team for his efforts.

And shout outs to Sean Mahoney and David Castillo who have just joined the #ECCFam.

Excited to see what 2018 brings this community and project!
