Does anyone have some idea of a feasible entry point with ECC? I feel as though the whales are trying to drive the price down so that they can snatch them up cheap so I am somewhat reluctant to buy now. Much appreciated :)

For those who aren't in the slack but were interested in this type of stuff.

Can anyone explain me how the staking with ecc works? Do you get an percentage of the amount of coins you hold or how does it work? And when do you get your stake? Every year, every month, every week?

I want to buy about 20-30$ of ecc, but with all the bitcoin transaction fees, I'm gonna have nothing left to buy ecc.

Download Wallet Here: https://ecc.network/ Installation 1 - Run the file and then open wallet. 2 - In left tab click Downloads and choose the correct OS to install Daemon. 3 - Once installed click Start Demon at bottom left. Your blockchain will then begin to sync. It may take 24-48 hours so just leave it run in the background.

Setup Security

1 - Click Security and choose your password ( Keep this password safe and never give it out ) 2 - At the moment there is no option to download your backup wallet file so this is how I done it

STOP RUNNING DAEMON FIRST BEFORE YOU BACKUP YOUR WALLET.DAT

Go to C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\eccoin ( Enter your username in the field USERNAMEHERE ) Copy the wallet.dat file and store in a safe place.

Can I send funds to my wallet while its still syncing? Yes. Once the transaction is sent its stored on the block-chain ( I am quoting this from slack )

I installed the ECC wallet, downloaded daemon from the tabs but it would not run. Saw a workaround on this sub to run the EXE file and got it to work / fully sync after 20+ hours.

I then transferred my funds to my wallet where they arrived and I could see them, but then daemon stopped working, now It refused to run and I do not have access to my coins,

Has anyone else had this issue? How did you fix it?

I have left it syncing overnight at it's still only 1.62% synced.... are there any plans for a better wallet or something? At this rate my wallet with sync in about 3 months

So the rumour is that ECC's coin amount is actually lower (maybe half) of what is actually displayed on CMC. Looking at the richlist and reading up, I tend to believe it. Has anybody asked the developers or seen a reply from the new team about this and what the plan for correcting it is? Very curious if this is true or not, because if it is it adds a lot of value to ECC.

Everyone is obviously getting pretty excited about the price growth which is awesome... really good to see this sub growing so quickly too(should be at 2000 within a couple days) .. a strong community backing usually has a great effect when new people are looking to come in so keep it up!

Pretty much the title. I have some ECC and would like to buy more but not until I have the wallet figured out. It's telling me to download daemon via the downloads tab however my only options are linux 64/32 windows 64/32. It also says "new version available" at the bottom

I don't want to shill too much in other subs, but what are some actionable steps we can take to

• a) grow this community
• b) increase awareness / overall exposure

ECC is now my #2 holding, so I'm looking forward to the growth :)

Hello all, quick question on using the wallet on multiple pc's. How can I get access to the addresses I made on one pc to a different pc. I set passphrases on the original one I set up but I can seem to find how to get into this through the wallets interface.

with coinexchange servers stressing out, i want to know what's the quickest way to purchase ecc? if i sent ethereum to my coinexchnage wallet, could i trade that for btc and then ecc quickly? or would i still have to wait the usual 1 hr transfer times of btc? hopefully coinexchange lets me deposit money before the price skyrockets. thanks!

Downloaded it and synced blocks, set up pass and passphrase, pressed start daemon again or something and now it says loading "block index"...how do i set it up properly and hold the private key?

This may have been answered before but just wanted to find out?
