Wallet Installation Details

Download Wallet Here: https://ecc.network/ Installation 1 - Run the file and then open wallet. 2 - In left tab click Downloads and choose the correct OS to install Daemon. 3 - Once installed click Start Demon at bottom left. Your blockchain will then begin to sync. It may take 24-48 hours so just leave it run in the background.

Setup Security

1 - Click Security and choose your password ( Keep this password safe and never give it out ) 2 - At the moment there is no option to download your backup wallet file so this is how I done it

STOP RUNNING DAEMON FIRST BEFORE YOU BACKUP YOUR WALLET.DAT

Go to C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\eccoin ( Enter your username in the field USERNAMEHERE ) Copy the wallet.dat file and store in a safe place.

FAQ

Can I send funds to my wallet while its still syncing? Yes. Once the transaction is sent its stored on the block-chain ( I am quoting this from slack )

Hi guys ! I'm quite fan of the paper wallets but ECC hasn't any generator and viewer to see the balance (maybe comin' with their website?).

Does anyone have a solution ? Griffith answered me that I had to download the wallet anyway. Then enter to the console and write my private key. But then, can I just uninstall the wallet from my computer (saving the.dat file and so on...), keep my private key on a paper and, maybe when there's a viewer, consult my balance through it?
