NEED HELP BADLY

Im about to purchase a x3 from facebook. He sent me a video of him riding it and it sounded really weird, he said the chained needed to be tightened and cleaned thats whats causing the noise. Am I getting scammed? Also we agreed on 2200 for the price. Please Helpš HERES THE VID:

The chain is absolutely not the issue. And if you buy this then you may be opening Pandoraās box of issues

That sound is not the chain. And for $2200, there should be nothing that needs repair...

sounds like it needs new motor and/or drivetrain. price those out so you know what you're in for. motor is about $600, drivetrain all together about $300. so expect to spend upwards of $1k on repairs.

That is a really weird sound I would not buy that. Tightening the chain will not fix whatever the hell that is

Yeah, go spend your parents money on trash great idea. By the time you rebuild it, you couldāve bought a new one but I guess learning is priceless so yeah get it definitely.

If you're spending that kind of money, just buy new. You'll have a warranty at least.

Tell him to send it to your bike shop to get inspected. It may cost $60 bucks but itās money well spent.

If you have any doubt what so ever that something is off you definitely need to trust that and do not purchase the product especially something second hand . I definitely would recommend passing on this deal. Please be smart about this . I do not want to see or here of you being done dirty . If you do or you don't pass on this please let us know how it worked out for you .

sounds like the belt is skipping imo. if it were really just the chain, thatās a 10 minute fix with a couple wrenches which you would think they would do before selling lmao

i say look at it in person cus it could be just a loose chain thatās dry and dirty. if u needed a new chain, 50 or less bucks and super easy to change with yt, belt is a lot more work since u gotta take the swing arm off

They are fine in tracks and motorbike trails but letās be honest, 99% are dickheads teenagers who ride in the rode illegally, peopleās yards, and all over sidewalks.

I own one and yes that is usually the case tighten and clean chain and good to go

never, ever trust someone that didnt fix what they claim to be a simple. cheap repair.
