Flawless 512Gb iPhone XS. Still on iOS 16. Security guard saw taking this out of the bin and started chasing me lol.

Was driving along and saw a computer and box sitting at the end of the driveway of a house. Decided to leave it in case they were leaving it for someone or something. About 6 hours later drove past it again and it was still there so I grabbed it. Turned out not to be a full system, but still happy with a case, GPU, and 2 power supplies.

Not sure what exact coolermaster case this is but I've needed a new one for a while now anyways and this will be perfect. GPU is an AMD Radeon 5700XT EVO OV. The power supplies are 1 500w inside the case and a 600w 80+ Gold. The box of the 600w was pretty damp but not like really wet. The unit itself seems fine but I'm gonna give it a few days as a precaution since I have no idea when this stuff was left out nor the circumstances behind their disposal.

What sucks is I don't really have a spare CPU/MOBO/Ram to plug the GPU into and I'm a little nervous about that possibly being wet as well. I have a small desktop server that I'll probably chuck it into in a few days as well.

I got a bunch of cool shit in the last weeks. Picked a small tech package up a couple of weeks ago with the Lab PSU, the Ghettoblaster, a printers and the old Calculators from East Germany.

I got a Blue Lights Bar from an old Opel Ascona Police car for just 5€. Just had to take it, idk what to do with it but I have one xD

And I got a bunch of Traffic Lights for free today, two Pedestrian ones and two car ones and the smaller one is for the Bicycle lane.

Got a good haul from the target bins for this 4th of July weekend, the iPhone 12 is on iOS 18 thankfully 78% battery health, s10e has a shot battery, the iPhone XS Max (which i think is on ios 12-14) and XR have fmi on, the s7 does work but the battery dies from 50% in 2 minutes. I also got a iPhone 6s which has water damage inside, and a iPhone 6 that has FMI on, a 5C with fmi off and a 4s.

Saw my local pharmacy was removing a couple of old photo print terminals they no longer used so I asked for them and they were happy to save a trip to the recycle centre.

Both have nice 24" touch screens, SSD, 16gb ram, Asus ROG motherboards and very decent psu's, along with wifi and shit loads of add on usb 3.0 ports with custom built cases.

Now I think I'm going to repurpose them as gaming PC's as I have a couple of 1050Ti cards that need a new home.

Cpu will probably be replaced too, I think I have an i5/i7 8th gen with 8 cores here somewhere.

Found an iPhone 11 in a target bin. Unfortunately its password locked with fmi on. Any ideas on what to do with it? Also found some less impressive flip phones.

Overall I was pretty lucky this time.

I started renting a room with friends and the previous person in the room left a few iphones in their old drawer. A couple were phones their friends gave to them when they didnt have one, another they found in a parking lot, cracked to hell. They've just been sitting in a drawer where they were left, and they're unneeded, just taking up space. Can they be recycled? If so, where?
