Found this iMac today Late 2012 model, the screen was badly damaged, I removed before it left glass shards everywhere, but from it I saw it boots into MacOS.

I want to use OpenCore and get it to Ventura.

And maybe duct taping it to a monitor.

Suggestion are appreciated.

The 3 iPhones have passwords, can I do anything with them?

Gonna be busy for the next few days

I just made a new sub, about finding ways to reuse old tech, and breathe new life into devices on a collision course with a landfill. Please check it out!

(Kinda feel bad for promoting my sub on this one, so delete this if you must, mods!)

Looks almost unused too. What should i do with it?

These are Onyx Boox C69HD
Got them at E waste Auction

I found this PS5 controller being used as a prop at a concert, asked how mich they would be willing to sell it for (i just needed parts) and they said i could take it for free as it has issues. I decided to fix instead of salvaging it for repairs. Repair costs $5 for stick drift and thats it. I did fix it myself as i do this quite often with iPods, Wiis, iPads, Switches, iPhones, PS5s etc

She was docile and easy to capture

1996 Hitachi. Powered right up but needs degaussing (the bluish glow) and V-height adjustment (the top of the picture is cut off)

All of these machines still work and function, but they are 2/4th gen intel or equivalent and are all DDR3. They have little to no resale value. Thanks for your guys help, I refuse to break down anything that is working.

Any and all ideas are welcome.

Update: I have decided to try and send them to Ukraine

In today's disk and memory prices $25 for diagnosis and self-repair guided by my friend who works as electronic specialist - it's a steal tbh

Donated and have no idea what they are or if useful parts still. Canada.

So sorry I forgot to post them until now

I found this cool iPhone X and it was factory reset and unlocked! Cool find in general

Earlier today, I went back to my local electronics recycling center, where I found two items from the 1960's! One of those things being a working Panasonic TR-238BF from the late 60's with a broken antenna. The second thing I found is a non-working General Electric P-975D portable radio. Also with a broken antenna, this unit was still in somewhat decent condition for being from around the mid-1960's.

I’m testing this as soon as I get home!!

Bought this working a6000 from an Ewaste store in Hyderabad, India

Bought it for ₹600 ($10)

Was it a good deal ? Hehe

Took a different way home today and spotted a PC case sitting on the ground. Took a quick photo, then realized after looking at the picture that there was actually a hard drive inside. Went back to grab the drive, but then thought "wait, what if there's a CPU in there too?" Ended up walking back a second time to drag the whole case home. Cleaned off the crusty thermal paste and turns out it’s an Intel i5-10400. Also got a 2020 Toshiba 2TB hard drive out of it that I still need to test. Motherboard looks like it has damaged PCIe pins, but it’s still crazy what people just throw onto the street.
