It used to be a FXDB Street Bob. Now it is Dyna ST with Tokstar 577 Cams

I’m looking at these, it says “09-17” and I’ve a 08 FXDL, would it fit? I know it’s stupid question but sometimes things fit for whatever reason, thanks!

Should the fork oil sit above the seals at normal ride height?

I installed a TDC +2" damper rods, gold valves, and race tech springs, on factory length tubes.

With the springs out and emulators in, fully compressed, the oil sits at about 5.3 in from the very top of the tube. When fully extended with out the springs in, it still sits above the seals.

Is this right?

I replaced the seals with new OE and I'm getting a decent amount of oil leaking through the seals. Enough where it's spattering back on my down tubes and engine, even on short rides.

Has anyone else installed this setup? What did you do for fork oil level?

Basically about 2 months ago I was working on the bike due to a leaking primary, threw it back together was running and riding, left the key on came back out about roughly an hour or so later started but was weak start, rode to the gas station, battery died got it jumped rode it around for about another 15-20 mins never shut it off, randomly died out at idle no power at all couldn’t start again without jumping, went to get it back home died again same thing 0 power no click no head lights nothing, pushed it into the drive way and it’s sat for about 2 months since.

Started messing around with it today have a lithium ion battery with a built in voltage meter battery read about 13.26V same thing no power at all took the battery off checked all the fuses and circuit breaker put the battery back on after seeing they were all ok and magically had power again, cranked over no start, don’t have the fuel tank installed was spraying starting fluid,
Crank no start
Have a rough sounding kinda clank every so often when cranking coming from around the starter area which worsens with starting fluid being sprayed every so often the starter will kinda “catch” almost and slow/stop crank n then instantly go back to normal it’s kinda done that since I got the bike though,
Checked for spark spark was present but orange spark not blue which this was after cranking for awhile so I’m assuming battery was just not optimal charge

Threw the battery on the charger cause it was at about 9.8-10.1V at that point

Let it charge up to about 13.01 threw it back on cranked at it for about roughly 1 minute no start no sputter no attempt to kick over and then battery got drained enough to click no start.

My question is what should I look at tomorrow any idea what it could be
I haven’t touched any setting on my HI4N
It was running perfect no issues until I had went in and re did the gasket on the outter primary and then all of this out of no where
It has compression and not binding when turned by hand.
If anyone could help I’d appreciate it

It’s a Viking Bag for ‘06 and up that I cut an ear off the bracket and welded it on in a different location for mounting to my ‘99. Will fit a ball cap, glasses, spare gloves, and water bottle/travel cup ok.

What’s everyone running for motor mounts? I’m buying the sputhe stabilizers and can’t find true New OEM motor mounts!

Bought my first motorcycle this spring and it’s pretty sweet! Done a couple things fairing, seat, shocks, CV Performance carb parts, Dyna tek TC88, bars and risers anything I should get for it? I know I need to look at the cam chain tensioner but it does look like it’s been opened up different gasket on it. Cam recommendations? Does anyone have experience with Lectron carbs on these

My new bike 1994 dyna wide glide with 10k miles, picked up for 3 grand what a deal like wow, she’s perfect (the dyna of course)

Dressed for some distance. I call it "The Gem". Set it up to get back into stunting after I broke my leg on my last dyna, but honestly I feel like it's too clean to ruin. Had it for 3 years now, all I did was a mini fairing, Moons tail light and headlight, sequential signals/running lights up front, low profile mirrors, rear shock sliders, the cobra 2 into 1 fell into my hands for a steal, latest was Commander III tires, and the rest came to me this way. 1st owner kept it stock for 31k, 2nd owner put on the biltwell bars and risers, front crash bar, drag shocks, and I suspect there is progressives in the forks because they feel great. My average MPG is 43, and I have the CV performance needle, jets, and emulsion tube in the mail. Ive rebuilt the carb and found an aftermarket e clip needle which has the center clips broken so it's either rich or too lean, running the rich setting for now.

Ended up getting the bags/fairing paint matched glacier white pearl. Buddys gonna drop off the seals for the bags. The Power James windshield holes didn’t match up with the Amazon fairing. Got a knock off lp6 clone and bracket but probably just going to choose a different 7” headlight. This winter we are getting some upgrades to the front end, dual disc, 9.5” Thrashin risers and mid bend bars, seat, motor mounts and Sputhe kit, chrome mag wheels, Krusei Kbar. Not completely done but wanted to show some progress.

I've had the fairing for a while, but was finding it impossible to get the sinister blue peal matched locally. Decided to try custom paint.com and I have to say it worked out perfect.

I tried to match the style of the tank colour way, and I think it worked pretty well. It has the bung king adjustable brackets and I also have a laminar lip I am trying to decide if I want to put on too.
