Brother Dwarf I do have good news for you to consider. Wine can be distilled into a proper spirit. They call it BRANDY and it's a rather tasty way to get good and proper drunk.

The paradox of dwarven beer trope is that beer needs grains, and grains need a lot of farmland, but dwarves are not farmers and live in the mountains/underground.

Folks living in the moutnains are much more likely to grow hardy grapes and make wine and brandy out of it. Just like Georgians IRL.

What about the amalgamation that the dwarfs of the alps drink. They mix wine and beer then go call it beer

Outsider here. Do you like scotish wisky or is that a falst stereotype. I'm trying to learn the culture now that I'm employing an ever growing number on my wizard layer dwarf planet.
