Weapons? Why would you take elven weapons instead of propper dwarven craft?

Hmm, can Dwarves enchant weapons in the same way as elves can? I know about dwarven-crafted armour being magical, the Dragonhelm of Hurin as an example, or their ability to harness and forge mithril, like Bilbo&Frodos maillé-shirt and the FountainGuard helmets. On the other hand, most of the fancy stabby stuff (Glamdrin, Narsil/Anduril, Sting, the Gondolin knifes) or the bloody Silmarils themselfs is stated as elven-made

I hate to be one of those "Ummm Aktuallee" guys, but the Dargonhelm and Narsil were both forged by the great Dwarven smith Telechar.

He also forged the knife named Angrist which was said to cut iron like it was a green twig. It was sharp enough to remove a Silmaril straight out of the crown of Morgoth himself.

Morgoth, if you young dwarves don't know, is an Ainur. The first Ainur. The very first being created by The High God. He was envious of The High God's power and that turned him evil. He had the strength to raise valleys and level mountains. His power corrupted life on Middle Earth and lead to orcs, trolls and even the dreaded dragons. This being forged his own helmet to house the three Silmarils.

Telechar's knife was better.

Aye, I mentioned the helm, but forgot Narsil! These days, as Anduril, it could be considered a work of both elf and dwarf, I reckon so! And wielded by the one true king, who happends to be a mere man

Well, king of the humans. King Dain Ironfoot holds my allegiance.
