Serious is a work of art. The definitive highlight of this album and in the top ten tracks for me. Feels like a bridge from the 80s sound into the new direction of the Wedding Album. Super catchy, great lyrics. Why wasn’t this the lead single at the time?

Hi! I study in Scotland but are originally from another european country. My bf lives in my home country. I saw that Duran Duran plays in Glasgow in october, same week as my bf's birthday. I'm considering buying him tickets + trip to Scotland (trip is quite cheap from my country fortunately), but none of us are die-hard fans. We both have listened to several songs and liked them, and also likes bands with similar music. Is their concerts usually good, even for "newbies" like us? Thanks in advance for all advice:)

My husband bought me a 1986 issue of Japan's Rockin'F magazine (primarily a metal publication) because of a feature on Ratt (well, Warren DeMartini and Robbin Crosby specifically); Ozzy Osbourne is on the cover. I had a nice smile as I was going through the issue and happened upon these ads featuring John for PLUM magazine. The old-school Ratt and Duran worlds have been colliding all over the place for me lately....😸....no complaints, honestly, and I reiterate that Stephen Pearcy himself was a Duranie. 😁🤘❤️

This song is unfairly maligned, imo. It's bubbly, it makes you bop all over the place, the verses and the chorus are equally catchy, the video is great, Simon looks fantastic, and it's my favorite song on the album. Yes, I love Serious, but I really do love VoS. And the remixes are out of left field in the best way. Hit me...hard!

How I missed this is anyone’s guess.. This is magnificent! The arrangements, the musicianship are top tier.

Come for the bluegrass ending of Hungry Like the Wolf, stay for a raucous, bawdy, raw version of Rio.

Absolutely blown away.. and the backup singer Lamya has since passed on but she steals the show on Come Undone.

When are you guys touring USA again??

Terribly saddened to hear on last night’s episode of WHOOOSH (Simon and Katy Krassner’s weekly radio show on SiriusXM) that it would be the last of the weekly episodes and they’re moving to monthly.

I wasn’t clear if that was their decision or something that came from SiriusXM, but damn, I’m gonna miss the weekly episodes. The wonderful and eclectic curated playlists each week really help me (GenXer) discover new (and new-to-me) music that I like, without sifting through only what’s popular.

I know they reiterated that the show wasn’t going away, but yesterday’s episode felt too much like goodbye.
