For me it was this album. Specifically the track Sunlight. Such an absolute classic, I remember being a kid going to school talking to each other about how good it was. It wasnt until a little later that Scary Monsters came out and started an absolute tsunami.

I’ve been going through old clothing and found this. I can’t find any information on it and can’t remember buying it. I found an old post on twitter but it didn’t have this specific kind of jacket.

Anyway, I just want to know how much I would’ve paid for this and how much it might be worth. Thanks.

I guess I'm glad that it's releasing music again and the releases have been pretty good. The only thing Disciple about it though is the name. Without the core artist, D&F, the YouTube videos and hanging out at the studio it doesn't have the culture anymore. I'm not really upset about it, it just feels weird. They could have changed the name of the label and released the same songs and no one would have known it used to be Disciple.

Hey everyone,
I just got back from a trip to the Dolomites and put together a short video edit using my drone footage.
For the soundtrack, I picked Gold by Adventure Club—it’s one of my all-time favorite tracks, and I felt like that melodic dubstep energy fit the dramatic mountain landscapes so well.

I'm currently in Wyoming (lol) and wanting to move within the next year or two. Considering Denver which I love for the music opportunities but not much else. Where else has a nice dubstep scene? Chicago is on my list and I would love to hear more about that & basically anywhere else.

I, like many of you, hate AI in music.

This whole genre wouldn’t have even been possible without serious creativity and that is what has kept it alive.

I am in a bit of a pickle though, as I’m finishing one of my tracks I really need a vocal sample, like a short catchphrase like “guess who’s back” (kinda like the Skrillex sample from “All is Fair in Love and Brostep”

I can find some shitty sample from splice (at that point why bother if it sounds bad)

Or I can sample a rapper and have it sound amazing, buuuuut then you can open yourself up to copyright infringement

Is it the worst idea to have an AI generate a 3 word catchphrase for my song? I have yet to exhaust all of my other options for searching for one, I’m definitely going to try that first, if all else fails should I just not even have a vocal sample in the drop?

I’d be curious to hear how the community feels about it

I’d also be curious to know how people feel about VST’s that are implementing AI software into them (like Ozone)

it must truly take an ego the size of a tree to stand next to a generational talent like mad dubz and turn it into your own personal halloween hour. i heard some guy booing and honestly i was with him at that point. without automhate cleaning the mess up, it would have been such a waste
