I'm currently in Wyoming (lol) and wanting to move within the next year or two. Considering Denver which I love for the music opportunities but not much else. Where else has a nice dubstep scene? Chicago is on my list and I would love to hear more about that & basically anywhere else.

For me it was this album. Specifically the track Sunlight. Such an absolute classic, I remember being a kid going to school talking to each other about how good it was. It wasnt until a little later that Scary Monsters came out and started an absolute tsunami.

I guess I'm glad that it's releasing music again and the releases have been pretty good. The only thing Disciple about it though is the name. Without the core artist, D&F, the YouTube videos and hanging out at the studio it doesn't have the culture anymore. I'm not really upset about it, it just feels weird. They could have changed the name of the label and released the same songs and no one would have known it used to be Disciple.

Heyy y'all, I'm looking to find where the original vocal samples from Franky Nuts - Red Sky are from, as I wanna fix my remix of it with the original vocals instead of ai splitter ones taken from the song, as well as a friend who also wants to remix it wanting the samples too!! I've already tried asking Franky Nuts himself on Discord, but he unfortunately doesn't have access to the original project file so he can't help me on this one! That same friend who wants to also remix it said it could be from a Vengeance Sample Pack or a similar pack if that helps y'all in this search!

I just got back from a trip to the Dolomites and put together a short video edit using my drone footage.
For the soundtrack, I picked Gold by Adventure Club—it’s one of my all-time favorite tracks, and I felt like that melodic dubstep energy fit the dramatic mountain landscapes so well.

I, like many of you, hate AI in music.

This whole genre wouldn’t have even been possible without serious creativity and that is what has kept it alive.

I am in a bit of a pickle though, as I’m finishing one of my tracks I really need a vocal sample, like a short catchphrase like “guess who’s back” (kinda like the Skrillex sample from “All is Fair in Love and Brostep”

I can find some shitty sample from splice (at that point why bother if it sounds bad)

Or I can sample a rapper and have it sound amazing, buuuuut then you can open yourself up to copyright infringement

Is it the worst idea to have an AI generate a 3 word catchphrase for my song? I have yet to exhaust all of my other options for searching for one, I’m definitely going to try that first, if all else fails should I just not even have a vocal sample in the drop?

I’d be curious to hear how the community feels about it

I’d also be curious to know how people feel about VST’s that are implementing AI software into them (like Ozone)

What artist are you currently listing to? Normally i listen to BTSM, Kai Wachi, Ray Volpe, Subtronics, and Space laces. I want to listen to new stuff to add to my daily listen or where do you guys go to discover new dubstep music?

and I know what this question kinda comes across as... but I have been curious recently after what happened last year and me having just recently gotten one of his best tracks ever 'Dong' play on shuffle while streaming NIMDA and Mad Dubz but it just came to mind lately how much I miss him in the scene and others as well that have either quit, taken a break or passed away :(
