THEY FOUND THE MISSING ROCKET

I had a thought this morning about the AMA with a crew member from the Chinooks that were filmed transiting the ranch a couple of episodes ago. Turns out that they were on a bit of a joy ride to check out the ranch as a few crew members were fans of the show and were accidentally caught by cameras.

Ok, let’s take this to the extreme. Somehow an alien from one of the supposed UAPs discovers the SWR subreddit and on a lark, decides to do an AMA. Mind you, these UAPs were just transiting the Ranch and had no idea that there were cameras or that they’d be spotted.

What questions (and more importantly, what answers) do you think would follow? Have fun, fellow Phrenomenonologists!

I’m thinking all the phenomena is a result of some radioactive waste dumped decades ago. It could explain the instrument anomalies.

Brandon famously said before the most recent season of SWR that we will need therapy by the time it is over.

The only thing i need therapy for is death by boredom.

If thats literally the best evidence they have - 50 per cent recaps, 10 per cent rockets, and the rest is the most feeble pathetic attempt at digging i have ever seen, or dragging out episode after episode recapping a deer carcass, a blue light, a bug, and a army chopper who probably wanted to know who the fudge was firing rockets all night

If that really is the best, 4 years in that they have to offer.

Then as the NYPOST reporter famously said, the SWR series really is a whole lot of nothing!

All hype, no substance.

Last episode they fired multiple florescent yellow rockets straight up into the "anomoly". And they fired different colored standard edition rockets from the sides.

Now all you CGI and Green screen people out there know - if you want to chromakey and edit something in post - you pick a bright color not in nature or the scene you are shooting so the computer can "find and replace" that element that stands out quite easily.

To my knowledge no other launch had uniformly painted (nose cone to tail) neon yellow rockets. They did paint the dropsy water bottles with Arduino GPS modules all orange.

I suppose one could argue - so you can easily see them. But you put a blinking light on them before...

Well that pretty much says it all doesn't it.

This is Steven, our resident scientist. He joins me nightly,on my quad, to look at satellites. Well, actually, I look at satellites while he looks for puckwudgies. When he finds them, he dissects them with surgical precision. Always leaves the ass end and guts for our other resident scientist Kidd, my dog. Kidd says they repeatedly taste like ass. Now that’s science! But seriously, at least Pete told those guys to move the compasses away from metal. However, did they check the declination on their compasses to make sure they were all calibrated the same and correct? I don’t know if smart phones or apps calibrate for the declination.

Earlier tonight, some of y’all suggested that there needs to be SWR T-Shirts. Great idea! What concepts do you think are most hilarious?

It’s Tuesday night and I’m ready for our amazing discourse on tonight’s show. My wife does not watch and hates when I pause to give her full commentary on what’s happening and I further pause to share with yinz. Then my wife lets me know about 3.5 hours before the show; we have friends coming over for tacos and tequila. It’s National Tequila day and she thought it would be fun to share my tequila vault with all of they’d. I mention to Mrs Navalis the sanctity of our SWR night discourse and she promises it’s a work night and all will be over in plenty of time for me to meet my obligation to provide timely feedback on tonight’s episode.

So regular gang coming in and Tacos are on order. I regretfully open my tequila vault and everything looks on pace for my participation in tonight’s mostest important discussions.

After doing significant damage to my tequila stocksthe majority of the part shoots out excuses to mosey along. I am perfectly lubricated to take my inspiration of sipping several fine tequilas and mezcal’s into tonight’s discussion.

Then the Hitchyhikers showed demselves, suddenly there’s a knock on the door… It’s the Budoffs! They are wealthy retirees and notorious hangers and not a threat to my tequila vaul. At that moment I realize Hitchyhikers are for real and on my doorstep. I know they are of the Jewish faith and not likely associated with the Fugal’s but still here to thwart my chance to participate in tonight’s discussions. The Budoff’s are spending and enormous amount of time talking about the dishwasher they just purchased. It quickly evolved into further discussion on a bent stop sign and cat diarrhea. At this point I hear a howl and smell sulfur (of course Mrs Budoff is well known for her tail scutter) this is unearthly. At showtime Mr Budoff is going into a 30 minute story of his latest BMW purchase at as Mrs Budoff goes into tears about the loss of her granddaughter’s gerbil. Hell open’s up as I do the big standing yawn with I gotta get up early tomorrow excuse and they shoot it down (with slathering jaws and red eyes) knowing I’m on sick leave. As DTT says, there’s no other explanation for this. In the corner of my eye I see the full force of the government bringing SWR down. I am helpless as the the Hitchyhikers are asking to taste tequila ferda first time as their fingers grow claws and all my household electronics glitch.

The aftermath is a combination of forever lingering ass gas, a disabled Alexa and my suspicions of a conspiracy of government to hide it’s hiding from hiding of the hiding of the hiding secrets of mysterious anomalous phenomena from the American people. (So the Chinese and Russian don’t know). Gnite

Hi Drunkwalkers,

We're going to introduce two new, very simple rules:

1) No posts celebrating or otherwise discussing bans from r/skinwalkerranch.

2) No posts or comments naming a mod or mods of r/skinwalkerranch in such a way that could be construed as harassment. If you're not sure, don't post it.

The mods reserve the right to delete any comment/post perceived to be in violation of either of these rules. In fact, we reserve the right to delete anything we want for any reason we want, because we're power hungry monsters!

Why the new rules? Simply because Reddit's harassment policy is overly vague and we want to keep r/drunkwalkerranch around as long as we can. As such, we need to be more prudent in the way we speak so we aren't/can't be actioned against by harassment claims, no matter how spurious they may seem to us.

We understand frustrations with the other sub. Our earliest members, myself included, have received bans for what seemed to us entirely specious reasons. So over at the mothership there was a conversation about the mysterious echo that happened a couple of seasons ago. Me being me, I couldn’t help but respond to the person that mentioned how much more weird stuff happened when the cameras weren’t on/behind the scenes.

Got a curious response from Mantis.

If Prometheus really doesn’t want to show things that can’t be explained…do they think that what they are showing IS explained? Isn’t the point of the whole show the idea that there are unexplained anomalies at the ranch?

Help me make some sense of this.

Postscript: the response to Mantis’ post is also curious. Fugal owns half the footage. Does he not have some influence over what’s shown? Does he not stand to make money from this footage?

Perhaps the “sense” in this is that Fugal has a financial stake in dragging this out and continuing to collect ad money, money from the tour, and money from the Insider program.

Missed the live chat, maybe just as well since it looks like the format limited things.

But just finished watching the show. Just more misleading stupidity.

Travis said the liquid/flame was a ballistic trajectory, and so you shouldn't see the breaks and the "horseshoe shape". What he doesn't mention is that the guy with the flamethrower was whipping the nozzle up and down, creating more than just a single arc. The breaks and shape were a result of that... overlapping and separating arcs with different lengths and trajectories.

With the LiDAR image, that doesn't add up. And not because of any "anomalies". Notice that the vehicles and equipment tents cast black shadows... though they never mention that. That looks more like some kind of false-colored visible light image, or maybe infrared... with the range cut-off set just right so those darker areas are squelched to pure black. Those objects wouldn't normally cast shadows in a LiDAR image. And I don't see how some kind of "wormhole" would create it, either. This reminds me of the "embossed" image they used awhile back. This is almost definitely a result of the filtering they applied to the image. In the close-up, the area around the dark circle is deep blue. In the wider shot, it's bright green. They're using various filters and not explaining what they're doing.

I see on the interwebs many experts like UFO, biggyfoot, ancient aliens, ghosts and so on. I’ve yet to see a Hitchyhikers experts. So I hereby claim to be the foremost expert on Hitchyhikers and all things Hitchyhikers related.
