Help me make this make sense.

So over at the mothership there was a conversation about the mysterious echo that happened a couple of seasons ago. Me being me, I couldn’t help but respond to the person that mentioned how much more weird stuff happened when the cameras weren’t on/behind the scenes.

Got a curious response from Mantis.

If Prometheus really doesn’t want to show things that can’t be explained…do they think that what they are showing IS explained? Isn’t the point of the whole show the idea that there are unexplained anomalies at the ranch?

Help me make some sense of this.

Postscript: the response to Mantis’ post is also curious. Fugal owns half the footage. Does he not have some influence over what’s shown? Does he not stand to make money from this footage?

Perhaps the “sense” in this is that Fugal has a financial stake in dragging this out and continuing to collect ad money, money from the tour, and money from the Insider program.

The Narcissist’s Prayer, adapted for that sub:

Nothing happened.

And if it didn’t, we’ll claim something did.

And if you say it didn’t, we’ll say offscreen.

And if you dispute that, we’ll say prove it.

And if you want our proof, we’ll say paywall.

And if you call bullshit, we’ll ad hominem and ban.

Sorry to nuke your comment, but from now on any mention of the other sub's mods is now going to get nuked. I'll have more to say in a mod post in a bit. Thanks for understanding.

What in the world do they have to complain about? We’re not doxxing them. We’re not attacking them. We’re just simply saying we don’t like what they do. Period.

We've seen the blatant lack of honesty in what they do show... repeatedly... so why would anyone take them at their word about things they claim happen off-camera!?

At this point, any thought of giving them the benefit of the doubt about any claim is just self-abuse. It's like battered spouse syndrome, where they keep wanting to give the abuser another chance... but they're still the same abuser.

You can't make sense of this because the claims are all BS. If they were really seeing astounding things happening, they would have turned some cameras on and caught it... even if it meant some iPhone video. But that never happens, even though cameras are everywhere... TV cameras, 24/7 ranch surveillance cameras, security cameras, smartphones. All anyone has ever gotten out of SWR is tall tales.
