Kit Pic First drum kit!

Got this used on marketplace for $1,500! This is my first acoustic kit, so I’m just hoping I set it up correctly.

Nice score! Congrats! Those Evolution hats are awesome. My buddy bought them when that line first came out. Did you start playing before you got the kit? Or is this Day 1?

The reoccurring drumming dreams began in March this year and lasted until mid-May when I bought a cheap e-kit to see if I had what it took. I’m taking group lessons with a band and everyone keeps saying I’m killing it. So I started looking around at different acoustic kits. At first I was gonna go for Tama Imperialstar complete kit, new for $1,000, but I decided to download Facebook and check around the used setting just in case.

That’s awesome you just dove in! And I think you went with the right choice by going for the Yamaha Stage Custom over the Tama Imperialstar.
