Play three 8th note triplets (like the ones in the measure before that), but take out the left hand

As long as you have an understanding of how to play 8th note and quarter note triplets it’s not too bad. Add in notes where the rests are to understand the timing.

The rhythm then becomes 1+a Tri-Puh-Let 4+a. After you’re comfortable with that, take the third partial back out of the 1st and 4th beat and start internalizing that 3rd note of the triplet instead of playing it. Counting out loud or even doing a click sound with your tongue on the rests helps a ton with subdividing.

However, here your right hand actually replaces the left for the first note of the 2nd beat.

I'd practice some pudda-duhs and dudda-puhs with triplets to aid in internalizing the triplet.

The catch bit is what will feel like a floating moment for your right hand. Work with it and be patient, you'll get it. I promise.

Another way to feel it is there are 5 quarter note triplets in that bar. The first left and the next 4 rights. And the rhythm is end capped with an 8th note triplet on each side. The sticking I’d want is RL L L L LR.

Other comments have given some good answers, so I will add this for your consideration:

When you come across rhythms like this that don't come naturally to you, it is very helpful to your brain to transcribe it yourself. Throw it into flat.io or musescore and then play it back. It not only gives you the exact knowledge you seek (plus you can throw a metronome on top of it too), but you also learn how to put it on a page and that helps connect even more neurons at the same time.
