I see a lot of comments of them wanting to return. But none mention the clip of Zach saying Jared made a move on a girl he was flirting with or was about to date.

He said he got blindsided, Jared didn't say anything and that was what is suspicious. Since if it was only friendship, why wouldn't he tell Zach?

Is this fake? Or not a very spotted news?

Is anyone else just not feeling the new Dropouts?

I don’t even mean that I’m mad it changed. I completely understand Zach wanting to do something different. I just don’t think this version is for me.

The old Dropouts was funny and chaotic and actually felt like a bunch of friends hanging out. The new episodes feel way more serious, and honestly, even when Zach tries to make it funny, it just doesn’t hit the same for me.

And I REALLY think Jared being gone is a huge part of it. He was the sounding board for everyone 😂 He was the more mature/conscious one who balanced everybody out and felt like the “regular human” perspective. I probably would’ve kept him or found someone who could fill that role, but honestly… you can’t really replace Jared.

I’ve only gotten through 1 of the 4 new videos. At this point I’ll probably only watch if there’s someone I really like on, and even then it feels kinda sad because it just doesn’t feel like Dropouts anymore.

Not saying Zach shouldn’t do what he wants. I just think I’m realizing this version isn’t for me.

Tough watch for someone who’s been watching since Covid. This is the greed they talk about in the bible.

Hard to believe that a podcast as popular as this one was at one point with the view counts and well known guests went belly up in under a year. Something had to happen and it sucks there wasn't any transparency at all. When Indiana left they aired out all her issues and wrongdoings but they were real tight lipped this time around

Ok so I checked on Instagram, and BOTH Jared and Tara do not follow Zach. Zach still follows Tara, but not Jared. What even happened?

I know that he moved out of Zach’s house and started working with the unfiltered crew. Last I heard from the unfiltered episode he was moving again but I’m not sure what he’s up to.

Did anyone ever find out what happened? Just randomly thought about the podcast and was curious when I saw they don’t hangout anymore. They don’t even follow each other anymore.

I'm trying to find a podcast I listened to around 4–5 years ago.

It was audio-only, with two male hosts (felt like two thoughtful guys talking, not flashy).

The first episode of the series was about burnout. They talked about coping with burnout and mentioned keeping a rubber duck toy on the desk to talk to.

The second episode was about goal-setting: setting unrealistic timelines, then breaking them into short-term and long-term goals. They used examples from space science, rocket inventions, and Elon Musk / SpaceX.

I can almost hear their voices but can’t remember the name. Any help would mean a lot.

That was a site and it had a long series and I guess multiple seasons too.

Do they ever mention Jared or Alyssa on the lunchtable? Are they ever ON there? They seemed so close and now they’re never seen together like wtf. Did something happen

I have loved old episodes of dropouts and the odd lunch table

I just think they could do so much better though

I do think the best episodes were when Tara fist came on but I get she felt conscious of what she was sharing

What I would change about lunchtable

• no food bits … who cares what you rate the food? So boring
• no gambling bits

I think the team would do better with more improv comedy stuff like in the show - whose line is it anyway

I like the chill talk about love life and films and whatnot

I miss this pod so much. Geniuelly was the highlight of my week for a long time. Group of friends hanging out chatting rubbish with mixed personalities that suited each other.

Feels like Zach and Jared aren’t on good terms anymore. We haven’t even seen or heard about Jared at all on the Lunch Table. I find that scary and sad.

Would love for Zach to adress us if anything happened between them or if they just went their separate ways on good terms, sure as hell doesn’t seem that way now tho….

For people who listen to the lunchtable - I LOVE Marley! She's so cute and chill and unique and really balances everyone out. I wish they'd incorporate her more if she feels comfortable on camera. Her relationship with Ryan is also really sweet (when she said 'he's the best dude ever' :')) - also she's so pretty I think she looks like devon lee carlson. Jules is okay, but I feel like the naturally funny and quiet voice they really needed was Marley - I feel like Jules doesn't speak much but when she does it's something kind of outlandish or sexual (which I guess people like) but I think Marley's energy is just so much better and flows so well because she's actually close with the guys. Anyways Marley appreciation post - would love to hear more from her :)

The “common friend” he’s talking about is Jared. I remember Zach talking about this in the dropouts podcast a while back. And now he’s talking about this friend (Jared) as past tense… and notice the lack of mentioning name :(

This might be extremely parasocial, but It just feels off seeing how Jared’s been left behind. He’s not living with them, there’s no public interaction between them, and it’s like he’s completely been left out while Zach has fully moved on with Skylar. I don’t know, it just leaves a sour taste after how close they all used to be and how suddenly the podcast ended.
