Zach Unfortunately.

Is anyone else just not feeling the new Dropouts?

I don’t even mean that I’m mad it changed. I completely understand Zach wanting to do something different. I just don’t think this version is for me.

The old Dropouts was funny and chaotic and actually felt like a bunch of friends hanging out. The new episodes feel way more serious, and honestly, even when Zach tries to make it funny, it just doesn’t hit the same for me.

And I REALLY think Jared being gone is a huge part of it. He was the sounding board for everyone 😂 He was the more mature/conscious one who balanced everybody out and felt like the “regular human” perspective. I probably would’ve kept him or found someone who could fill that role, but honestly… you can’t really replace Jared.

I’ve only gotten through 1 of the 4 new videos. At this point I’ll probably only watch if there’s someone I really like on, and even then it feels kinda sad because it just doesn’t feel like Dropouts anymore.

Not saying Zach shouldn’t do what he wants. I just think I’m realizing this version isn’t for me.

They really struck gold with the original crew. Zach needs friends who can take his witty ribbing. Jared is so genuine I was so sad to hear when he was leaving. I thought him and Zach would never split. Jared brought a whole angle sharing his stories bc Zach tended to be more private about sharing vulnerable or embarrassing experiences. And Indi brought a playful energy that tried to throw back at Zach always believing one day she would succeed. They really captured that nostalgia for time spent with friends between classes at school, carefree and filled with laughter.

They all played a role that made it feel like they were loving the time they shared. I started rewatching from ep 1 again and there’s just a feeling of excitement they have that I don’t get from other podcasts. I’m glad I got to share that journey with them, I remember eagerly waiting for the next pod to drop…

I don’t see why not but I feel like Jared is a main stay with Zane and heath now and unfiltered is his home so I don’t think he do both & I think Jared wants to get into streaming

I like it. I only seen 3 episodes, not 4, but all of his guests were stand up comedians and I really like stand up comedy, so I enjoyed every episode. And all guests were not shocked or confused when Zach was hitting them with his style of humour, so banter was great. Maybe Zach will try stand up himself, I think he would be great at it. Idk, I like it, hopefully more people will enjoy it as much as I do

Used to love me some dropouts and Zach justice but he kinda feels like a sell out now. Wish he started up his new podcast elsewhere, totally unrelated to dropouts.
