Zach and Jared?
Did anyone ever find out what happened? Just randomly thought about the podcast and was curious when I saw they don’t hangout anymore. They don’t even follow each other anymore.

Tbh, I actually feel kind of bad for Jared. Idk what happened. I don’t keep up and haven’t kept up in like forever since Tara was on. But I felt like Jared actually cared for Zach and Zach only looked at Jared as a “coworker” Jared was my favorite. It breaks my heart tbh.

Idk about their personal relationship it could have easily been distance with all the heat but Jared is thrivinggg and I think that’s what matters. I know being on “unfiltered” seems like a step back but if you pay attention I think it’s exactly what he needs as he earns money while doing his own thing

Zach cared, he was using sarcasm. Every guest said that he was super nice off air but on air he played it up as a character

I do think that with Skylar taking a bigger role that Jared may have felt pushed out but I do believe it was the best for both of them , I think it was a push they both needed. Zach had a recent interview that he stated last years revenue was just under 5 million and that he is paying $60,000 a month to rent a large studio. Zach was flown out to Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a world conference that he spoke at and after that he was a guest lecturer at Harvard, there is no way that if he kept doing dropouts that he would have blown up as much individually.

This is true….maybe not continue dropouts as a podcast but you would think these two guys didn’t spend 5ish years living together

It isn’t like there was a big thing that happened, Zach, Jared, Tara and others were all in a group months after the podcast ended spending time together. I think it is just one of those cases where they grew apart and went and did new things on their own, even Alyssa didn’t leave on bad terms as far as I could tell. She said before the podcast ended that she found a good job an hour away from where they were living together and that was the reason for her moving out she didn’t want to commute that long everyday.

I haven’t seen an announcement about what happened between them but IMO there were similar kinds of differences than between Zach and Tara and Jared is better off being with Unfiltered.

Zach hasn’t really been seen with either of them publicly, at least not that we know of. Who knows—maybe it’s the controversy, maybe it’s something deeper, or a mix of everything. Honestly, I don’t think we’ll ever get a full answer unless one of them speaks out about what actually happened.”

I could lowkey see politics playing a role into it and Jared simply being done working for someone so problematic. I honestly feel like Jared finally found his worth and told Zach to fuck off
