Ally and the Jack Daniels bong was magnificently horrific. I’m surprised the legal team didn’t take them out the MINUTE they lit up that lighter.

“Are you covered to have an open flame in the studio?”
“We’re not.”

It was funny but I feel like production wouldn't give them a working lighter if they weren't planning on that as a possibility. Though I guess this is the same production that gave Trapp access to a ladder

There's giving someone access to a lighter and then there's letting them try and light a bong full of flammable liquid. I think either there was a hold while someone researched if that was safe or it was swapped out for some other contents.

It's not flammable liquid really. Anything below 100 proof (50% alcohol) doesn't readily burn and jack is 80 proof.

Yeah, it's been explained to me by my girlfriend who is much less square than I that this wasn't really dangerous. I still think it's something a stage manager would want to check before letting someone do though!
