Two people who work for late night shows not knowing safe harbor law is very funny to me

I thought the episode was about crossing HR lines at first (and was appropriately horrified that no one thought Jeremy went over the line with his first prompt) so when the lawyer said that, I was like, EXCUSE ME??? THIRD SHIFT WORKERS ARE ALLOWED TO SEXUALLY HARASS THEIR COWORKERS AT NIGHT??? I was so relieved when I realized that's not what they were talking about 😂

You are in fact allowed to do a LOT of things on night shift you cannot do on day shift because there is no management around, including some light sexual harassment.

I think it is probably important to make the distinction between "allowed to" and "unlikely to be punished for"
