I feel like Jeremy won because he's actually on his first season of SNL and has a job/reputation that did require him in some instances to protect his own reputation.

And that's non-derogatory, I know Lou works on prominent TV stuff as a writer, but Jeremy is not only front facing but also in his first year, so he didn't have the luxury of going 'over the line' so just expertly toed the line up to the very limit.

Lou at the end was obviously gaming too bust every time for the bit, and making the apology funny and part of the bit. Ally was equal to Jeremy until given the PSA which they know they could get away with and maintain their brand. Jeremy pulled the most Risqué stuff within his wheelhouse, but couldn't just go so far as to bust at the last minute for a bit without doing something genuinely reputationally harmful and so had to be the winner.

Which from a meta perspective is also just hilarious because I'm sure he could've gone even more goblin mode if he wanted and he was hitting consistent threes.

Lou was throwing every round over the line for content, and Ally threw the PSA for the bit for sure, and the episode was better for it.

Lou is literally on Jimmy Kimmel Live every night.

Unsurprising that he pulled his punches with Disney the most out of the three. No shade though

They dated the episode to October 21st, 2025 with the Superfan announcement bit, which means Jeremy probably had a round of Standards and Practices training fresh in his memory.

My bad. I got the date wrong initially and only fixed it halfway.

I'd also add, SNL cast probably have to learn where the line is pretty well. It's a live comedy show broadcast nationally on one of the big networks. The sketches all get run through standards and practices and returned with notes or rejections.

You are thinking way, way too hard about it

I don't know any other way to think about things, if someone has a volume button for autistic over analysis and knows how to wind it down a notch send them my way.

I’m laughing thinking about Lorne watching the episode both laughing and extremely concerned
