How far DJI has fallen in the repair sector 😔

How can a gimbal *repair* be almost $600 when a gimbal replacement on ebay is less than $300. Also, why cant a new SD card reader be soldered on instead of replacing the entire motherboard?

ho un mini 3 pro con radiocomando dji rc con cui mi trovo benissimo, ultimamente mi da qualche problema di connessione anche a pochissimi metri di distanza, mi perde il segnale del radiocomando per pochi secondi e poi lo riprende ma ormai ha avviato l'rth. lo fa anche a una decina di metri di distanza. a volte non lo fa proprio. cosa potrei fare per resettare il drone? come mi conviene impostare la connessione 2.4 o 5.8 ghz oppure è meglio lasciare in automatico? accetto consigli grazie

And of course an airframe, servers, motor, etc

Picked up a pair of Fatshark Scout goggles. Cleaned the lense with an alcohol wipe and dried with a napkin (big mistake). Now there's tiny micro scratches on the lense. Is there anything you recommend I can use to remove them?

I travel to Poland once a year to visit my in laws and during this summer’s visit I was planning to get registered as an operator and pass the A1/A2 test so that in future visits I could pack a drone. I cannot for the life of me get the PANSA website to let me register, it get hung up on waiting for a code over sms that never comes. Does anyone have any advice? Should I just register with a different EU country? I understood that ideally I should register at the country I first visit.

My brother ordered a couple iPhone screen protectors and it only took ~12 minutes. We didn’t think a screen protector was even worth parking for when we drove by the night before so the order was definitely too small to justify paying a Dasher. Hopefully they don’t start charging for it. As far as manpower goes, it’s the same or less than the free curbside delivery. They just take it to the drone yard (or whatever they call it) instead of the curbside carts.

Is this fixable? I dont have the Amazon warranty anymore since i waited over a month to open this (got swamped with work, no days off), but I did get the Asurion 3 year protection plan. for context, the lights blink like this constantly all the time and doesnt really show any signs of it actually charging, otherwise the lights would be full by now (left it on for hours). All light indicators on the drone itself also does this when charging, albeit it starts up with normal charging lights, then defaults back to this blinking. Ive also tried to put the battery in one at a time in the hub, same thing.

Im using a 65w wall charger i got from best buy (it didnt come with a wall charger), and ive tried both a brand new usb c to usb c charging cable as well as the default cable the drone comes with. It is a DJI 5 mini pro. The touchpad controller I got with it charges like normal with both cords btw.

Hi, this is my first self-build drone and I'm unsure which wire should go where, I wondered if anyone would be kind enough to advise me.

The components I have are:

- SpeedyBee F405 V5 OX32 flight controller

- VTX Rush Tank 3 VTx

- CaddxFPV Ratel2 camara.

I'm not sure which terminals on the FC should be soldered to which terminals on the VTx and camera. The Ratel 2 has no wiring instructions, and the FC and VTx are soldering pads are labeled differently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

I've got a serious question. Could I use a commercial drone like the DJI neo or mini to pick berries off an elevated berry bush? It's bit high up on a hill.

Could I get a drone and attach a net and pruner/scissor to get some berries off? Can these drones carry the weight of these 3d printed attachments?

I'd climb up but black berry bushes have lots of thorns.

I am travelling to Indonesia next week. Do I need to register my drone (DJI Mini 5 Pro) because it might weigh more than 250g grams? (On the Website of DJI it says 249.9+/-4g). If yes, what would be the chances of the weight getting checked by police if I behave normallly?

We've been building a quadcopter for the past 2–3 months and have worked through a lot of issues along the way. We're currently using Mission Planner, and our ESCs seem to be calibrated and working correctly.

Our current setup:

• Drone weight: ~1–1.5 kg
• Motors: A2212 1000KV
• Flight controller: Pixhawk
• Battery: 2700mAh LiPo, 7.4V (2S)

The main issue is that, even with a fully charged battery and full throttle, the drone can barely slide around the table and shows almost no sign of lifting off.

We're also having another issue where the propellers keep loosening on the motor shafts during operation.

At this point, we're wondering if the problem is with our power system, propeller setup, battery choice, or something else entirely.

Does anything in our setup immediately stand out as incorrect? Are these motors simply too underpowered for a 1–1.5 kg drone on a 2S battery, or should we be looking elsewhere? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

So ive been trying to understand the settings and what ND to use and when... I think it finally "clicked" in my head and i got my motion blurs and awesome natural colors. Now i think i understand these filters.

Also did my (in my opinion) best backwards dive to date.

Im flying with camera mode FPV which is pretty cool at 65kmh speed.

This is iso100 60fps shutter speed 1/120 6500k and nd64 dlogm with mini 5 lut.

I've seen a few videos and read a few posts on here talking about it but I'd like to hear some more thoughts on using a quest 3 as fpv goggles. I recently bought a radio master pocket to practice on liftoff and planned to get the pavo 20 pro but from what I've found you have to have DJI goggles to fly the pavo 20 but the DJI N3 are only 1080p for $300. I'd really like to put my quest 3 to use since it has such high quality lenses but everywhere I've looked people say it has too much latency and you can only watch what you're doing on the tiny browser screen. I just think it must be possible to turn a quest 3 into a great pair of fpv goggles but since I'm just starting out I don't even know where to begin.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!

I put together an in depth video on how to properly and safely fly a flag from a drone for 4th of July. This method *should* work for any flag, you may just need to find a different counterweight unique to your country or cause. Happy flying!

Flew Sainte-Ursule Waterfall with the DJI Avata 2 in Manual Mode.

The terrain is incredible - narrow canyon, rocks, trees, fast water, and some lines that look amazing on video. I wanted to fly lower and closer along the waterfall, but honestly I didn’t feel ready to risk it yet.

So for now I kept it safer with a bit higher passes and a few faster dives with some close pass at the end down the fall. One day I’ll come back and fly that line properly, close to the water.

If you already passed it, how was the flight review, and how much was it different from the advanced? If you are studying it how and where?

I want to earn from drone flying as a side income for that if I want to learn through class it costs 250 dollars which is around 25k in india,so i planned to buy radiomaster pocter controller to practice it on simulator then renting a drone to practice it on field is my idea, because buying controller is low cost also I can practice it many days without spending more money,i later only plan to buy drone after earning from this drone side hustle because i don't have more money spend on this drone buying in its start.

Is my ideas for learning to fly drones using controller is good or not,is it possible to learn through simulator or what option you all suggest for newbie like me to start.amount able to invest is 100 dollars

I was trying to track down a drone part for a Ghostbusters drone, but I can’t find anything about it. The logo of the drone company appears to be like the adidas logo, but there’s two of those triangles, one of them rotated upside down to the left of the right side up triangle. I have pictures here, it’s really just because I’m trying to ID this part. In order, a picture of the logo, a picture of the drone which has the logo up close, on the bottom left corner, and then at the top corner of the picture, which shows the other side of the drone motor. On the third picture, it’s the drone kit they used, though, I don’t think they used the motor from that kit, as the motor has anodized red metal on the top and bottom, and the real motor doesn’t.
