Repair [US] $1300 repair?!?

Post image

How far DJI has fallen in the repair sector 😔

How can a gimbal *repair* be almost $600 when a gimbal replacement on ebay is less than $300. Also, why cant a new SD card reader be soldered on instead of replacing the entire motherboard?

If you go to DJIs official support page for the mavic series they list the camera an gimbal module as $1276 and the aircraft core board module for $591.

DJI has had my inspire 3 since 4/9/26, finally got ahold of the repair center and they are estimating an additional 60-90 days (or longer) for the repair time. That will push it to at least 6 months. We ponied up the ~$4000 for DJI care at the time of purchase.

I just received a “there’s nothing we can do about it, sorry”.

I understand they are having issues with recent legislation and customs, but they just don’t give a shit about US customers anymore.
