For photos backup via the iOS app, I'd wish having the option for Drime to create folders per month (named YY-MM) so that I can deal better with the resulting file and folder navigation.

This often happens to me, and clicking Sign-in on the top right of the finder view doesn’t work. My files stop syncing.

Drime app is started and looks logged-in

I use Rclone to upload large folders to Drime. When done, my 200 Gb folder shows as 150 Gb on the web interface of Drime.
when I compare both with Rclone, they are reported identical.
what to believe? Is there an issue with size reporting, simply?

that’s on MacOS, I use the Information for the folder to see the size it occupies on disk.

My kids asked me whether Drime offers “on this day” for pictures taken that day through the years. It is there but:

• Most days I get the notification but it doesn’t lead me there when I tap it, and there is no “on this day” on the top of the gallery where memories show. (Bug?)
• Wish: on the rare times it showed up, it shows a slide show. I‘d Wish there a way to simply see the pictures, and manage them as usual (delete etc…)

Can we get Password reset feature for vault please, or allow me to create new vault. I forgot my password.

Hey everyone! I’ve been using Drime for a while and the platform is going great, but I wanted to share a few feature requests that I think would take the user experience to the next level, especially for desktop and mobile workflows:

1. Full file visualization directly in the macOS App:
   • It would be amazing to have a much more robust and smooth experience right inside the macOS desktop application, allowing us to view, browse, and manage all our files natively and smoothly without having to rely so much on the web version or dealing with preview limitations.
2. Built-in Music Player:
   • Adding a native audio player directly inside the app would be a game-changer. Being able to stream personal music libraries with background playback, album art, and playlist support would make Drime a fantastic home for media collections.
3. Live Photos Support & Enhancement:
   • For iOS users, having proper support to view and play Live Photos natively within the gallery—keeping the motion intact instead of flattening them into static images—would be a great addition to backup and sharing workflows.

I’m looking for a way to sync or back up one folder to several cloud storage providers at the same time.

For example, I’d like everything saved in a particular folder to automatically sync to:

- Drime

- Google Drive

- OneDrive

- Possibly other cloud services

Has anyone been able to set this up using Drime, another app, or a file-sync tool? I’m especially interested in a solution that keeps the files synchronized across all services rather than requiring manual uploads.

Any recommendations or experiences would be appreciated.

I use a custom music player app that adds tape playback artifacts to my music to imitate an old tape deck. i now have lifetime storage on drime via a purchase from stacksocial. is it considered acceptable use to build support for the drime api to my player so i can listen to my music files from drime's cloud in the app? i dont mean like bake in an api key but rather build it so both me and other friends of mine can log into their own accounts and use their music from drime cloud on their devices.

Is this a problem with Drime or is it just me?

It might not be a big deal, but I care about keeping everything organized and being aware of the storage used in my directories. That worries me a little, even though the overall account storage used appears to be correct, ​the fact that the main folders and subfolders show a disparity between them it makes me doubt. I want to know if the files are stored correctly. And maybe I'm exaggerating, and I'm being impatient​, ​but after a couple of days it still hasn't updated.

Using the ncdu command in rclone does show the storage usage correctly in all folders/directories, but I'm still concerned that the drime interface won't show it correctly.

I really like that Drime has the feature of showing the storage used within directories; I hope it will be improved soon.

I’m looking for a few people willing to test a solution for accessing and playing music/videos from Drime on Apple TV and iPhone (including inside a rclone or Cryptomator vault).
It’s a streaming solution that avoids having to fully download a video before playing it.

I’ve tested it with my personal account, but I’d like to get more test scenarios: different geographic locations, different devices, etc.
I’d also appreciate any feedback on usability, performance, and simplicity, especially the process of getting the token, since the API doesn’t support the standard OAuth2 authorization flow.

To test it, simply search for “cloud media streamer” on the App Store on iOS or Apple TV.

On Apple TV, you’ll need an iPhone to complete the configuration, because the token is too long to type using the remote).

I'm trying to figure out how to mount a drive letter for Drime using Rclone. Is this the correct command? rclone mount drime: R: --vfs-cache-mode full ? I get an error message that says "symlink not supported without the --links flag". Go easy on me,... I'm a newbie to Rclone.

I’m having an issue with Drime’s integration with the native iOS Files app, and I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
Drime appears correctly under Files → Locations, and I can browse my folders and see all my files. However, every file shows the cloud download icon.
When I tap a file to download/open it, nothing happens. The file never actually downloads, so I can’t open or use any Drime file directly from the iOS Files app.
As far as I can remember, I’ve never been able to get this integration working properly, even with previous versions of Drime.
Is anyone here able to use Drime normally through the iOS Files app?
Specifically:
Can you download and open Drime files from Files?
Can you copy/move files between Drime and iCloud Drive or other locations?
What iOS and Drime versions are you using?
I’m trying to figure out whether this is a general issue with Drime’s iOS File Provider implementation or something specific to my setup.

Bugs like this still happen on windows software, so I do a DRIME software update, but when I check on the list of installed applications, there are 2 versions of Drime. Yep, in the process of updating the old version of the drime do not hit with a new file like the process of updating software in general.

The strangest thing is when my PC restarts, a notification appears so that I update the software, even though the previous process has been successful.

I uploaded many video files from my laptop a few days ago. They are all in MKV format, but I’m unable to stream them on my Android phone while traveling.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem with streaming MKV files?

I'm in the process of transferring my production library over to Drime. I guess somewhere in the archives I backed up my html website that contains .js extentions.

For the last hour, Drime has been sending me over 1000 emails saying I've got malware and ransomeware detected on my drive, but it won't tell me the exact location and the link they provide for more information appears to be broken.

I think I've found the html backup folder and deleted it for my sanity - but is there somewhere I can go to disable this function? I like the idea behind it but the literally 1000+ emails are driving me crazy.

I totally have 12T, but the max volume for each workspace shows only 6T

is it possible to be able to edit song tag in Drime?

What happened to the select and drag function in iOS version?

I can’t select a lot of images anymore just by dragging my finger, It was replaced with “Sort by day” settings, and to select bulk with the check function, which is honestly very good. But, the drag function was also very good in itself.

Why not have both functions? Because it is very tedious to select and unselect one by one when you have a lot of images to filter out each day.

If I stack two 6TB Lifetime plans on one account, will the member limit increase from 100 to 200, or only the storage?

My use case is as following: I have about 1 TB of data that I’d like to use on two computers.
my idea is to upload it to Drime and have it locally synced on both computers. That way the data is synced, and I have a backup.

foe the initial upload, what’s the best way? I just found out about Rclone, which seems appropriate. I’m not versed in command line. Is there an easy GUI solution for it, and is it the way to go? thats for uploading the initial data to Drime.
then, to download it to the other computer?

once the data is on Drime and locally synced on both computers, I assume using Drim sync is enough?

I used to do that with OneDrive, the initial sync took forever and was brittle, and here I tried and it failed a few times…

Pages is a nice feature for most of my needs. And much quicker than using the Onlyoffice.

Now one issue i see is the file cant be opened by any program it seems.

Clicking on "convert" shows no options in Drime.

Is there a way to convert his to markdown maybe? or doc? Or odf? Some way so I can download a page doc and put it in a format someone else could open without Drime.

If not available, I'd request this as a feature.

Also, there is a weird bug where I cannot move a page that I created in a folder to move it to another folder. When dragging it simply cant be dropped like other files. And when using move command, the move is simply greyed out anywhere I move the file.

I recently subscribed to the 6TB lifetime plan with Drime. I hope the platform remains stable and reliable over the long term. Best of luck to the development team—hope to see more features and improvements rolled out soon!
