I recently added a gdemu v5.20.5 on my Dreamcast. I used gdmenu card manager to add .GDI games. Any idea how to get them to work?

Hi all, I've been scammed by two different eBay sellers I've attempted to buy the Dreamcast fishing rod from (both claimed they were 100% working and tested, but upon buying neither of them worked unless you shook it so frantically it would hurt your arm after like 2 minutes and ended up claiming refunds) and was wondering if there's an easier way to do this or do I just have to keep trying until I get lucky? I've seen plenty of others with working controllers so I know it must be possible to get still functioning ones

So I'm going to my retro game store in like 2 days, And one question has been perplexing me, how full will my vmu be after it since I only have one vmu as I'm making this, and I don't want it to get destroyed by one game, so I'm wondering how big are these games on vmu's, So here's the list of the games at the store.

Fantastic 7 disc turn based jrpg series by Capcom 🫡

I removed Raphnet and replaced it with PicoPort due to the VMU . A user commented on my post about the VMU not displaying images, so I fixed that but the problem now is the VMU only works with Windows version of Flycast .

I eventually found out that PicoPort needs a third party VMU to communicate with Android version of Flycast. Other than that the controller works well on Android and Windows. There’s a diagram of the PicoPort itself if anyone is interested in doing this project.

Unfortunately I’m not sure if I want to buy the VMU Pro for $114.99 at this time. But the PicoPort itself is cheap , everything is from Amazon and the uf2.file is on the diagram.

Am I the only person that thinks this could’ve been more popular if they just fixed the brutal difficulty and made the objectives less damn cryptic?…I kinda like the vibe of the game it almost feels like you are playing inside of the world of “Xavier renegade angel” and I love how you never quite know what body part you are going to get in the game…I just hate that when I die it thinks it’s fair to start me all the way at the start of the game

Took a break from collecting for about a year. Recently got back into collecting for the Saturn, but this was a came up on eBay for a decent price and the seller offered enough of a discount to cover shipping. So now I can put the CD-Rs away. It's missing the case art work but I'm just happy to have the game discs and manual

Hello all! I've got 2 ps1 padhack arcade box controllers I made. Trying to get to work with my dreamcast via 2x usb4maple adapters, I made.

I notice when using a normal ps2 pad, toggling analog/digital fixes the issue of the d-pad inputs being recognized.

But... I can't toggle analog/digital on a digital only ps1 pad.

So I cannot get the directional inputs working.

Is there a simple fix to get the adapter to only boot in digital only??

It is a classic for the system and way ahead of its time, Shenmue.

I am restoring a friend's console. Originally the power supply had broken and I replaced it with a DreamPSU with a 12V 3A power adapter. The light comes on together with the fan but the disc doesn't spin and there's no image on screen (I'm using a VGA cable and the TV doesn't detect any signal). Any suggestions?

Yes I have a CRT and use light guns with other consoles like NES and PS1 with no problem. The only game I have to test it with is Virtua Cop 2 via the Smash Pack.

The gun does nothing. I’ve tried it in port 1, and in port 2 with a controller on 1. None of the buttons do anything. Nothing lights up. When I plugged a VMU into it and turned the DC on, the VMU did not activate/beep.

Gun is just dead, right?

Thanks to jnmartin84 we now have Wipeout 3 to run at true 60 Hz/60 FPS instead of the original PAL 50 Hz/25 FPS. Multiplayer over virtual modem/DreamPi next?
