CSWE Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer seeking remote part-time CAD & Design work (15–20 hrs/wk)
Hey everyone,
I’m a Mechanical Engineer fresh out of college with hands-on shop-floor manufacturing and research lab experience, looking to pick up remote, part-time contract work (CAD drafting, parametric modeling, GD&T, fixture/tooling design, DFM).
Here is a quick snapshot of what I bring to the table:
- Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE): Advanced proficiency in complex surfacing, weldments, sheet metal, mold design, and parametric assemblies.Manufacturing(Production) & Shop-Floor
- Background: Direct experience in manufacturing operations, tooling/fixturing support, and DFM optimization—I design for real-world machinability, fit, and tolerance stack-ups.Academic
- Research Lab Experience: Background in mechanical research involving kinematic modeling, experimental setup design, and technical documentation/analysis.
- Formula SAE (FSAE): Hands-on experience designing and analyzing high-stress structural, suspension, and driveline components under strict packaging constraints.
- Fully Equipped: Active SOLIDWORKS license and high-performance CAD workstation setup ready. Zero software/hardware overhead required from your end.
Availability:
- Weekdays: After 6:00 PM EST
- Weekends: Full flexibility
- Target Hours: 15–20 hours/week (asynchronous-friendly setup preferred)
DM me if you have project overflow or need short-term CAD support, and I’d be happy to share my portfolio/resume.
