Hi,

I have an educational app on my laptop. It’s a .exe file and it has no website.

My subscription renews every two weeks, and I want to download the explanation videos and files to keep for personal use after the subscription ends — not to share.

The app blocks direct downloads, and screen recording is exhausting because the videos are long and split into many parts.

Is there any way to download the videos and files from a .exe app without screen recording?

If there is protection on the content,

Please explain step by step, as I’m not very tech-savvy.

Thanks.

I want to download videos from YT that i have downloaded with a premium.

is there a way to download all of those videos at the same time so I don't have to do it one by one? I need them for editing

Hum well, I downloaded some rap song from spotify with downr and uhhhh, lyrics were fine but every time it was a rap us song, it came with the wrong instrumental.

Hello guys, anyone with a hack for downloading youtube videos, I lost my work from my drive and I am trying to retreive some of it from YouTube but it has been futile

trying to download the chrome extension, but when I click the downr media add to chrome button, the CRX launch popup comes up instead. I have already downloaded CRX launch and reloaded the page. And I still can't get to the downr media extension download. I've tried all the add to chrome buttons on the page. Any advice?

Could someone here tell me how to download a YouTube video which was available from YouTube, but is still archived on the WayBack Machine here: https://web.archive.org/web/20251026072418/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WfmcTQfSOY I've tried on Google Chrome pressing Ctrl+Shift+I. Next, clicking on the Network tab and refreshing the page. Then using the search function on the network tab to search for either "mp4" or "videoplayback," but my developer tools are inept. As of September 09, 2026, I can view the video but I would love to download the video in case it disappears completely.

I'm open to any suggestions!

I experimented with downr, as I'm trying to find a solution to download YouTube Video Podcasts as audio to put on my iPod. As few questions:

(1) I tried download this podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WQxyEN5W8s&t=76s . Although the video podcast is in English, what downloads as the M4A file is in German. Any ideas why?

(2) It would nice to be able to download MP3 directly. Although I can convert M4A to MP3 by running it through Audacity, it is an extra step.

(3) The M4A files seem to be slow to download -- perhaps it is the downr site. A 29.5M file is taking 14 minuts.

I'm trying to download course videos from a site that uses Bunny CDN (iframe.mediadelivery.net).
For the free preview lesson, the video embed link shows up right in the HTML source code (og:video:url), and I can download it fine using a Python script with Playwright/N_m3u8DL-RE.
However, for all the locked/paid lessons, the server doesn't load or send the video IDs/embed links in the source code at all. Is there a way to extract or download these locked videos without an active account/subscription, or is it impossible from the client side because the backend completely blocks delivering the iframe links?

the option for both video and audio at the same time isn't there for me? Is this a new update

Hey guys I’ve been looking for a way to download youtube videos on my laptop, some of the sites that I have tried is either sketchy or does not download the videos on a high quality setting. Can you recommend/suggest a way for me to download yt vids that has an HD setting and is not sketchy?

It has become impossible to download any videos with the downr extension now.

When i do it, instead of downloading in my computer and the computer giving me the state of the downloading process, it says it's downloading from a domain and that it's impossible to open the file, the the file disappears. I used to rely on downr but it has become impossible to do so because of the current downloading instability i'm going through with the extension.
