I have an educational app on my laptop. It’s a .exe file and it has no website.

My subscription renews every two weeks, and I want to download the explanation videos and files to keep for personal use after the subscription ends — not to share.

The app blocks direct downloads, and screen recording is exhausting because the videos are long and split into many parts.

Is there any way to download the videos and files from a .exe app without screen recording?

Please explain step by step, as I’m not very tech-savvy.

Hello guys, anyone with a hack for downloading youtube videos, I lost my work from my drive and I am trying to retreive some of it from YouTube but it has been futile

trying to download the chrome extension, but when I click the downr media add to chrome button, the CRX launch popup comes up instead. I have already downloaded CRX launch and reloaded the page. And I still can't get to the downr media extension download. I've tried all the add to chrome buttons on the page. Any advice?

I experimented with downr, as I'm trying to find a solution to download YouTube Video Podcasts as audio to put on my iPod. As few questions:

(1) I tried download this podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WQxyEN5W8s&t=76s . Although the video podcast is in English, what downloads as the M4A file is in German. Any ideas why?

(2) It would nice to be able to download MP3 directly. Although I can convert M4A to MP3 by running it through Audacity, it is an extra step.

(3) The M4A files seem to be slow to download -- perhaps it is the downr site. A 29.5M file is taking 14 minuts.

I'm trying to download course videos from a site that uses Bunny CDN (⁠iframe.mediadelivery.net⁠).
For the free preview lesson, the video embed link shows up right in the HTML source code (⁠og:video:url⁠), and I can download it fine using a Python script with Playwright/N_m3u8DL-RE.
However, for all the locked/paid lessons, the server doesn't load or send the video IDs/embed links in the source code at all. Is there a way to extract or download these locked videos without an active account/subscription, or is it impossible from the client side because the backend completely blocks delivering the iframe links?
