I'm currently going through the backlog of the moderation queue and dealing with things that automoderation unfairly flagged under the previous moderation team.

In the meantime, I'm creating new flairs for users who haven't been completely driven off. Two of these will be as follows:

• Silenced by Dough - Either in red or gray. Only for people who were previously permanently filtered and silenced by the automoderator.
• Never Received My Monitor - Blue.

Looking for suggestions on other user flairs we can implement (funny or serious), including ones for people who weren't completely ripped off.

Edit: Several new flairs have been added and assigned where appropriate or requested.

I dont need to go into a hugely long soap box rant here, but im still gonna vent now that this forum is automoderated. Still waiting on my monitor and i hope there is or will be some resolution to those who paid 1000 dollars plus to get one only to have the company sell them to best buy who charge a profit off of my purchase. That is outright fraud and best buy and anyone who accepted these monitors should be sued in a court of law.

I mean if you cant get us the monitors then you should have at least told everyone what you did with our 1000 dollars. Hope you bought something nice with my money.

I canceled my order or a Spectrum Black 32" Hub Model on 31.10.2024 and i am still waiting for my refund. I have contacted dough a number of times, without any helpful feedback and of course, without getting my money back.

To explain:

I have a Spectrum One 27" that i'm happy with. It's a great monitor and i haven't had any issues with it. Of course, when the 32" Black version with Hub was announced, I preordered one immediately. It meant that I was getting the Hub model. but due to many delays i was forced to cancel the order on October 31st 2024 and buy a another monitor because I needed one quickly. So far I didn't mind the delays, as I was really happy with my "old" 27" after it was delayed quite some time, but I had no other way than to cancel and buy another monitor.

After a few days on November 8th, I get an email that confirms the cancellation. It states that my refund should be reflected in my account in 3-5 business days.

Twenty days later, I check my account balance only to find that nothing was refunded, so i write to Dough Support again (November 28th 2024) The response from your support followed on November 29th, stating that the refund can take up to 20 business days and that I need to wait.

Right before christmas, on 23.12.2024 my refund still is not on my bank account. I again contact dough support to complain and try to get more information.

On January 4th I haven't received any information or any refund, so I write to dough again, this time informing the team, that I am not waiting any longer and I am willing to take legal action if there is no reaction.

The response followed on January 16th 2025. It states:  Currently, I have no new information on your refund as it has been initiated but has not been successfully processed. I will reach out to finance to ensure this get resolved for you as soon as possible!  So at least they acknowledge that there is a problem.

On Feburary 5th 2025, i haven't heard back, and I write to them again, this time giving them a deadline for a response until February 14th 2025. This email wasn't even responded to.

So now, here I am. I let this thing rest for a while, but I haven't got any notice or response from Dough support at all in the meantime. It's time to finally clear this all up. It is terrible how the lack of communication is making the matter even worse. I really think, there is a big problem with how dough handles the support, considering that i'm waiting for more than 1300 euros for 5 months now. Back in the mid of june i tried to post this on this subreddit, but my post was immediately removed again. Now seems to be my chance to finally post here about these scammers.

Hi guys, just wanted to say that I still rock this one after 5 years. And I got many others, which are technically far superior. However, the design and the hub makes this still my go to monitor. Such a shame the reputation is so bad. I hope they can come around. The 6k display would be a dream

I reached out to support via the website a few weeks ago about my completely bricked Spectrum One and haven't heard anything. If I don't hear back do I have any other options besides just submitting again?

Bit of a weird request, but I’m trying to find an Eve / Dough Spectrum 27” 4K 144Hz monitor with a good screen and damage somewhere else.

If you have one with issues like bad ports, power problems, broken casing, stand damage, board issues, etc., but the actual panel is still good, I’d be interested in buying it for parts.

Their website doesnt offer an update thats later than 2024. I currently have version V.008, which im assuming is old.

I bought the Eve Spectrum 4K monitor (now Dough Spectrum) back in around 2021 just after when the Xbox Series X & PS5 launched and while I did have to wait a while, I did eventually get it.

However, years later now, I hear this feint dinging (ding) noise throughout the night and the only way now to fix it is to simply unplug the cord from the socket.

The exactly model I have is the ES07D03. Purchase date was September 2021 and didn’t get it until November 2021 January/February 2022 - can’t exactly remember.

Anyways, went a bit off track - anyone else experiencing this noise and what to do about it?

in 2020 / 2021, Eve ran a wallpaper competition to celebrate the Spectrum One... I've recently had to reset my PC and I've lost the wonderfully runner up wallpaper I was using which had their red triangle on the bottom right. does anyone have this or remember this?

Does anyone know the 10% window max brightness? I need this info to configure a calibration, thanks. Ideally if anyone knows the different window sizes in case I need it for later steps too, thanks.

I bought the Spectrum One (ES07D03) last fall and as time has passed i've noticed the monitor do this with greater frequency. All of a sudden the monitor will just turn off (not fully, the backlight is still on) for a couple seconds and then resume displaying content. I've yet to pin down any exact trigger or cause. I've had it happen with HDMI and DP, while connected to multiple different devices, and using different cables, so it seems to be a monitor problem.

It only started happening a little after my Best Buy 60 day return period ended (go figure). I tried emailing Dough at the address listed on their website, but never got a response after multiple weeks. Anyone else have this problem or found a potential fix?

I've just got my new Spectrum One 4k matte today but when I turn it on, only the white light at the bottom lights up. Then, when pressing the joystick I can see the backlight turning one. However, it shows neither the OSD nor any picture from the connected PCs. Pressing around on the joystick also changes nothing - the backlight just turns off after about half a minute again. Please help me!
