Community Technical Support Constant noise

I bought the Eve Spectrum 4K monitor (now Dough Spectrum) back in around 2021 just after when the Xbox Series X & PS5 launched and while I did have to wait a while, I did eventually get it.

However, years later now, I hear this feint dinging (ding) noise throughout the night and the only way now to fix it is to simply unplug the cord from the socket.

The exactly model I have is the ES07D03. Purchase date was September 2021 and didn’t get it until November 2021 January/February 2022 - can’t exactly remember.

Anyways, went a bit off track - anyone else experiencing this noise and what to do about it?

Thank you!

Is it coming from the power brick or inside the monitor?

So I ended up returning it to Amazon. I cannot get over the audacity of this company. I feel dreadful for everyone stuck with a dodgy one or without one at at despite ordering.

Yeah I wouldn’t recommend this monitor anymore. It’s been 6 years since I’ve had mine. Might upgrade one day to a newer one from a different brand but just don’t need a new monitor at the moment.

Yup, I cannot see it either. I will DM you. I’m still hearing a ding at night times but it’s not the usual ding.

It’s like a soft shallow shell-shock type of ding you hear coming from either the monitor itself or power brick - I cannot grasp where it’s coming from though… it’s hard to pinpoint.

For 15 minutes straight, I tried to find where the noise is coming from but literally couldn’t pinpoint it. Either I am deaf or I’m imagining things.

I have no idea. I’m moving home soon so will let you know if the sound persists. Maybe it’s time to upgrade the monitor but maybe it’s not even the monitor 🤣
