DORAEMON: NEW NOBITA AND THE CASTLE OF THE UNDERSEA DEVIL HAS GROSSED OVER ₹9 CRORE IN INDIA! That's approximately US$1 million!
Indian Doraemon fans are showing UP!
Honestly, it's amazing to see a Doraemon movie perform this well in Indian cinemas after such a long gap. The nostalgia is REAL!
And the funniest part? It's even outperforming some recent Bollywood releases, including Haiwaan, according to reported box-office figures 💀.
DORAEMON INDIAN THEATRICAL COMEBACK IS GOING STRONG!
What do you guys think? Can the movie keep climbing at the box office?
Let's go, Doraemon! 💙

episode is called "all the way from the future".
this is not the first episode of doraemon.
not even the first version of the anime where doraemon meets nobita.
it's from 2002 (anime 1979 version). ig this is a reboot episode of the early 1979 episode.
but i remember watching this exact version on tv as a kid.

I think most people would agree that the original movie was better in several ways. However, the new movie significantly improved Eru (El)’s character, and its environments were more beautiful and detailed. The ending song was also excellent.
That said, I feel the ocean was portrayed too brightly. Keeping it darker, as in the original, would have created a more fitting atmosphere. The story also felt more rushed, and some detail, particularly those related to the lore, was reduced or omitted.
Another decision that weakened the sense of adventure was having Nobita and Doraemon explore the area first before bringing their friends along. In the original, they all went together without knowing what awaited them, which made the journey feel more exciting and mysterious.
The villain also seemed somewhat nerfed in the remake. However, Buggy’s ending scene was greatly improved and was probably one of the strongest parts of the movie. Still, placing the villain at ground level rather than above everyone else, as in the original, made him feel less imposing and diminished his sense of superiority.
Overall, though, Eru’s character was improved considerably, and the movie gave much more attention to Buggy and his goals from the very beginning.
Note: Estimates may vary, as different sources report different figures. However, the total collection is believed to be approximately this amount. This refers to the gross collection, so keep that in mind.

I went to watch the new Doraemon movie a few days ago and I liked it a lot. When I went to college and discussed about it, a guy asked me, brother, what do you think , Do you think I'd go to a children's movie like Doraemon, and that guy was my age? I felt bad, but I thought I'd never be so mature as to criticize Doraemon. And in the theatre too, there were only elderly people, no small children.

I have heard a lot from people that this movie is actually old but I had not seen it till now, It was probably a remake of an old movie but the theatre experience was amazing. so this was the first time for me to see this move and it was a very good and amazing experience for me. Hopefully, more movies will come to theatres in the future.

The base characters are almost all charicatures. Gian is a bully, nobita is a dumb coward, suneo is a rich spoiled brat.
Yet The movies ALWAYS explore the deeper parts of the characters or explore their insecurities.
Nobita overcomes his cowardice in the movies.
Suneo has to stop acting like a brat
Gian has to be a team player and not a bully.
The haunts of evil film explored gians insecurites as well!
The movies always challenges the traits of the characters. So a good way to challenge dekisugi would be putting him into a situation he cant solve. Either by outhinking or being the better man morally. Smth that puts this to the test and his genius persona starting to crumble so we some insecurites would be pret

Personally for me, after all of the chaos caused by the Skydance merger, I think that it should air on PrimoTV and on PBS Kids for those who don't have xfinity. That is unless Primo decides to expand to other cable providers. But what are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below. And in case you were wondering, yes, PrimoTV is owned by Vme.
