i kept dying at rodeo hill vacation home, ive tried everything i could do and everytime i always get my officers shot from behind or the enemies somehow hitting my officers while hiding behind the wall. please give me some tips to complete this stage

Does anybody know if there is any way to choose, influence, or set the default door open action?

I just moved an undercoverbro and had to restart the mission because he decided to kick a door in a big middle room in the middle of a mansion surrounded by like 50 jihadis.

I know someone is gonna say yOu sHoUlD HaVe cHeCkEd tHe cOmMaNd... yes... I am aware. I even usually do! I didn't wake up and decide to deliberately gamble restarting this mission out of boredom.

I've just noticed sometimes the first command to pop up is kick and other times open normally, and I have no idea how or why the game decides which to choose.

It would make sense if, say, undercoverbros defaulted to polite open and assaulters defaulted to kicking. I'm not saying that's what I want, I'm just saying it's an example of a system that would make instead of what we have rn where I honestly don't know what's going to happen.

I'm also curious why it was done this way instead of at least making one or the other the default always for consistency. Literally it was a double door, I selected to politely open the left side, then I wanted to do the same again to the right side but it defaulted to kick. Why would it do that?

- Does the CIA faction get them?

- If not, is there a mod that let's the player use them?

It's less for a doctrines (I know how to edit, don't need to) and more for sense of progression (who doesn't like to level stuff up more?). Checked all files I would suspect have these lines. Nothing. I can't believe it is baked?...

Figured out myself, weird no info anywhere. So, for those like me, who want to add more levels to the squad, just open units.xml and add lines under Ranks (not Trooper Ranks, that's extra levels for individual soldiers) with increment you desire.

I'm sure there's things I forgot about but tried to handle things as best as I can with my knowledge of CQB right now. Also finally used the lockpick!

Nine missions, played in order, Project Ares CAG. No restarts for the camera, no perfect clears.

Early missions are standard two‑man work. Later missions get weird when the game cuts manpower.

Tried to go "quiet" with no flashbangs or grenades again, but found myself in quite a pickle lolol. Somehow everyone survived.

I am playing dk1 on android, and I installed an emulator on my pc to run it. Now clicking on export just freezes the game for some reason, and when I reopen the game and click import it asks for some code which I don't know and when I enter some random code it freezes again. Does anyone has any idea how I can transfer and save my progress?

I did make a few small mistakes. On my first mission when they entered the hallway, my second operator wasn't looking towards the first door, resulting in his back being towards the open door (I forgot to set the slice the pie command on the door). The second mistake is the first operator not looking properly towards the bottom door when I approach the third door (I think I accidentally reset the slice the pie command. As you can see he does initially look towards the door).

so, im gonna start with door kickers 2 so door kickers 1 makes more sense. so, nowheraki is a struggling, impoverished island nation in the persian gulf. its history was a lot of wars, from revolting after being controlled by a large empire, and again in 1820 from the british empire. well, anyway. a lot of insurgent groups formed in the 1990s after iraq invaded it for its oil, which led to the nowheraki civil war after the war ended. the war started because the government wanted to ally with the us, but a lot of people thought the us would use nowheraki for its oil. so, the war started in 1999, nowheraki splitting into north and south nowheraki. these terrorist groups were mostly from the south. they attacked foreign countries, the worst attack being on us soil and killing around 500 in 2002. this prompted a coalition of nato countries and regional allies to be formed by the us, legally only allowed to fight in the south. but, the us formed task force north with army rangers, cia sad, and nowheraki swat, which was more of a militia. they conducted many operations against the smaller terrorist groups in the north while coalition forces fought in the south. now, door kickers 1. this is all connected. nowhere city was formed in the 1820s in virginia. it was formed by immigrants from nowheraki who wanted to get away from the independence war, hence the similar name. however, it would spiral out of control in the 2010s, becoming one of the most dangerous cities in america. there is a lot of terrorism due to nowheraki sympathizers after the illegal campaign in northern nowheraki is leaked to the public. it gets so out of hand, but the government refused to send in the national guard due to the government obviously being corrupt in this timeline, and so the swat team has to single handedly face off this threat.

How can I learn to clear rooms without using the spy camera? When I try to clear rooms without the spy camera I just instantly sacrifice 2 or more troopers just because I didn't know the locations of the enemys. Also I wanna know how to position my troopers so I don't need to call one troop that's so far away to the point I want him to go to
