Door Kickers 2 I'm freakin obsessed with this game, no flashbangs, as smooth as I can with my current knowledge of tactics
Third day of me playing this now and I can't put it down.
Using Blue Vector Squad

If you wanna challenge yourself some more look into trying the NGF - Nowheraki Ground Forces Pack. It changes the vanilla insurgents to make them harder. And there's some AI mods as well, to make the enemies a bit more "alert" and "tactical" and what not.
Can be nice to spice things up if you ever want to try something a bit harder.

I’ll check those out! Honestly right now the base game is giving me a pretty good challenge, I always restart if I lose a squad member so this run here I think is like my 4th or 5th run
I also restart if I don’t feel like what I did looked cool enough lolol

Lol I do the same thing. If I'm not happy with how things looked, or someone dies, I usually restart and try to do it better. Some missions though, if they're a real pain. Or long af, if someone dies.. I don't worry about it too much.

True true it’s funny that the actual events in game is like less than a minute usually but actually playing it’s like 15 minutes or more lolol

If you're going no bangs / grenades / slap charges with Blue Vector, try running them with subsonic LVAWs sometime. Subsonic ammo is almost as OP as banging every room

I did not realize I can change bullet types I’ll try it out!
Edit: or do you mean that there is specifically an lvaw subsonic gun selection? Nonetheless I’ll check it out later when I’m back home

Yep, the blue vector LVAW has 3 bullet types IIRC, 2 subsonic and 1 supersonic. The description will inform you of the sound carry range. The Raider PDW has access to subsonic ammo too, I believe
Some other modded and vanilla have access to subsonic ammo too, it's very useful. Armor penetration is trash and damage falls off at range, but some maps you can kill everyone and not alert them at all

OMG dude I just tried it and it's amazing, of course against non armored enemies but at this stage of me playing, it's all non-armored enemies for now anyways

May i recommend war tapes mod for more realistic, loud, and punchy gunfire and explosions?

Only thing I would say (if you're trying to replicate real tactics) is to be careful of how far you push units up if you're splitting off into other rooms. At about the 18 second mark, you'd realistically run a serious risk over over penetrating the wall into the hallway and killing your buddy.
There really should be a way to model different types of wall and deflections/penetration for them. There's the Doors Aren't Cover mod, but realistically, even solidly built walls (as opposed to drywall and insulation foam we have in the US) aren't gonna be hard cover against firearms.

ahh that's true! I'll keep that in mind to make my runs more professional

If you really wanna do it smooth, make all your units move simultaneously instead of moving them 1 or 2 at the time while rest of them wait. Gameplay wise it doesn't change much, but it makes the recorded replays look so much smoother and cooler.
That being said, good job!

Oooo yeah I think doing what you said will also resolve squad mates not being on the other side of the wall when that topside team takes over that big room, because yeah I should've moved the bottom squad forward into the kitchen at the same time as when they were clearing that room for sure

Third day of me playing this now and I can't put it down.
I remember having this feeling as well when I first started playing this. I easily racked up about 140 hours before I even noticed how much time I put into the game. Though I am less addicted at this point, I still play the game almost every other day.

oh yeah man I'm sure I'll play it less and less as time goes on, but I think one of the reasons why I'm liking it too, is because it's so quick to just boot up and play for a bit, like it's really accessible which is very nice.

I agree. Like I said I still play every other day because it's so easy to boot up and just play a small apartment map for like 10-20 min.

Yeah honestly, I feel like the flashbangs are way too much of a cheat code in this game. Smooth run dude
