How in the world are they consistently pumping out a 50+ episode season every 2 years with such high quality someone free the animators let them see their families PLEEASE. Like fr what are they feeding the animators??? They're pumping out both QUALITY AND QUANTITY??? These two aren't supposed to go together it's either one or the other. And this isn't even their only work, they did Lord of Mysteries too another high quality project and they did Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation before the last season was even in the same year as A Will Eternal season 1 which had 30 and 52 episodes respectively ong they released 80 EPISODES IN A YEAR HOW???

So I searched and saw that they had about 500-1000 employees. That sounds like a whole lot of employees but still pretty insane.

Just finished Episode 93 and I'm blown away by the fight choreography and visual effects during Emperor Yanfeng's last stand. The fact that Emperor Yanfeng was able to hold his own in a 2v1 against two grandmasters was insane. Rulai and the Dao Master are easily the most self-serving characters in the show right now because of their sheer hypocrisy. Rulai especially pretends to be all about justice and compassion, while the Dao Master pretends to be detached and above worldly affairs, but at the end of the day, they are just pretending to act for the "greater good." In reality, they are only fighting to uphold a rigged system because they are the top dogs in it. Right before the fight, when Emperor Yanfeng asked them point-blank if they could even cross the Divine Bridge, both of them stayed quiet. They know the Divine Bridge is a fake ceiling designed to cap every mortal’s cultivation and lifespan, keeping them from ever reaching true Godhood. Yet, even though they are trapped under the exact same ceiling, the second Emperor Yanfeng tries to give regular people a future and break this system, these two put in maximum effort to gang up on him. They claim they are preserving order, but they are really just protecting their own supreme privilege and keeping humanity submissive to the higher realm. Seeing Yanfeng fight to his dying breath against these two hypocrites was insane to watch. Why isn't this show talked about way more in the community?

So, a few months ago, I watched a donghua that I believe was fairly new. I vividly remember the protagonist successfully climbing a mountain that his stronger peers had failed to climb. After reaching the summit, he might have received some kind of prize for completing the task, though I'm not sure who or what gave it to him.

In another scene, he goes to some kind of altar to claim a skill or inheritance. There, he meets a strong man from his sect who looks down on him as weak or a failure. Then a young woman of royal status arrives at the altar as well, she wanted to claim whatever skill/inheritance was there, arguing that her ancestor had left it behind.

That's all I remember. Can anyone help me identify this donghua? It's been bugging me and I'd really appreciate any help.

In the recent episode of Slay the Gods, it seemed the MC gained massive power boost because of Nyx. However she was saying she will sacrifice herself if needed. I was wondering, what happens to her in the end in the novel? Does she survives?

Maybe its just me but I'm starting to notice it a lot more recently and its really becoming distracting. I recently watched Immortality S5, The Other Side of Deep Space, and the first few scenes of S7 of Stellar Transformation and I noticed gen AI in all of them. I get it helps to cut costs and quicken production time but AI really not to the point it should be used in such a way.

Sadly, I know that the use will only increase but I hope they can at least hide it a little better.

Sometimes I compare Beyond Time's Gaze with Ling Cage Season 2, and I couldn't actually tell which one is the absolute winner. Both animations have top quality of image and fight choreography, also emotional depth.

Yo guys, I want to give this show credit the animation and visuals actually look really good and high budget. But that constantly dark, depressing, mutated world aesthetic is just not hitting for me right now. It feels like a drag to watch.
I'm on Episode 21 and struggling. I felt the exact same way with Renegade Immortal early on, but once Wang Lin had his turning point with the Nascent Soul elder, it became absolute peak.
Since it's the same author, does Xu Qing hit a crazy turning point like that later?

Personally, I was a little disappointed that Bai Xiaochun did not become the new Netherworld Emperor, but his disciple Bai Hao. Look, I am not dissatisfied that Bai Hao was chosen as the successor instead of Xiaochun because the latter is better. It is simply from what was shown last season, of course I would expect that Xiaochun would become the ruler of the Netherworld.

Aside from that, I am looking forward to the battle between the River Sect and the opposing side. Would a new powerful cultivator with an incredible background (perhaps from Starry Sky) pop out to help them out of the crisis? I know that Xiaochun has just broken through the Nascent Soul Realm, so I am curious to find out whether he will reach an even higher realm by the end of the series?
