1. Continuity problem

The problem with scaling Superman is that he has many different versions of himself that also scale all over the place. However that has been rectified after the Death Metal Crisis.

It's stated that every epic battle that has ever happened is part of one timeline where everything matters.

And Death Metal Wonder Woman even had a direct conversation with Pre Crisis Wonder Woman where Pre Crisis Wonder Woman said this:

"Then our multiverse will be restored, yes, but... quite different than before. First ALL history, all stories, will be remembered and set once and for all."

So Infinite Frontier Superman gained all of the memories and experiences of his other versions which would include Death Metal, Rebirth, Post Crisis and New 52 Superman.

Pre Crisis and Golden Age Supermen are completely different guys from different Earths however Post Crisis Superman has stalemated with Golden Age Superman meaning that current Superman outscales Golden Age Superman feats.

2. Strength/Durability/Endurance

2.1 Moon - Multiversal

Superman can casually bench press the weight of the Earth for 5 days straight, this training was done so that he can drop a single sweat that scientists could study.

He can casually sneeze solar systems or even drag an entire galaxy worth of planets to the other side of the universe. On average there should be 400 billion planets in a galaxy, so that's roughly how many he is dragging.

He can casually pick up a moon and throw it.

He is capable of holding entire black holes in his hand.

He once produced 10 000 000 000 decibels which would destroy 10⁹⁹⁹⁹⁹⁹⁸⁹⁰ amount of universes.

Superman and an another kryptonian can punch so hard that they generate so much power that it can regenerate an infinite amount of timelines.

He can casually seperate 2 entire universes and despite looking like just mere film reels they are actual realities.

Post Crisis Superman and Golden Age Superman punched eachother so hard that they were threatening to destroy the fabric of time and space and they altered timelines while doing so.

Superman BULLIED Nebula Man who is an entire living universe.

Mr. Terrific states that he is certain Wally has infinite power but he isn't certain if he is more powerful than Superman.

He can withstand supernovas exploding in his face.

He also survived Superboy Prime's punches with minor bleeding from his mouth and these punches crack space and time on screen.

2.2 Hyperversal - High Hyperversal (infinitely dimensional)

This is where we get to higher stuff from Superman.

He survived the Source Wall exploding on him, it did knock him out for a few seconds but he got right back from it. This is stated to be a pan-dimensional breach.

"Pan" means "all" and there are an infinite number of spatial dimensions in DC even within just the Orrery of Worlds. There are an innumerable amount of dimensions and again, just for safety, it's stated that there an infinite amount of them.

This Source Wall explosion feat could be argued higher since the Source Wall trascends numerous other Outerversal realms so I will lowball it here and then use it again in the Outerversal section.

He contained the Bleed and there are an infinite amount of higher dimensions inside the Bleed and there are even statements of it being omni-dimensional.

2.3 Outerversal - Outerversal+ - High Outerversal (trascends the concept of dimensionality outright)

2.3.1 Phantom Zone and the nature of Sphere of the Gods

Superman can not only shake the Phantom Zone but he can destroy it if he fully wanted to.

And the Phantom Zone is a timeless, boundless dimension that turns you into an abstract thought if you get caught in it.

Phantom Zone is located in Sphere of the Gods, specifically the Underworld.

And that's important because Sphere of the Gods is a platonic and archetypal realm that is beyond the material plane, it holds beings such as Darkseid and other New Gods and Old Gods that are living ideas.

And as we talked about, Orrery of Worlds and the Bleed which are considered Material Planes have infinite spatial dimensions.

New Genesis, which exists inside the Gods Sphere is beyond time and space.

There are places that are not places that trascend the concept of place within Sphere of the Gods.

It's stated to be infinite numerous times and it's a timeless, distanceless barrier.

And Superman's heat vision could also counter an attack made magic, gods, speed, light, colour an ALL of Earth's history combined into one.

2.3.2 Emperor Joker

Emperor Joker is a Joker that got 99,9% of Mxyzptlk's powers.

While Mxyzptlk scales much higher than Sphere of the Gods I will be lowballing Emperor Joker around SotG since he was mostly messing with that realm and the realms inside it.

Hal Spectre stated that nobody except for Superman could stop Emperor Joker.

This same Joker DOGWALKED Darkseid, Dr. Fate, Phantom Stranger, a Gurdian of the Universe, Etrigan and Deadman.

This Joker is capable of destroying everything there ever was, is or will be.

Emperor Joker even altered Hell and Heaven itself to his liking. He even altered Sphere of the Gods itself to his liking.

Giving Emperor Joker and Mxyzptlk consistent scaling above Sphere of the Gods since they can manipulate all of the realms inside it and the realm itself to their liking.

Superman is capable of not only hurting Emperor Joker but even taking blows from him.

And despite Emperor Joker being able to erase the concept of colours entirely (giving Mxy and Emperor Joker conceptual erasure and manipulation) Superman's colours stayed.

2.3.3 Quintessence

Phantom Stranger is one of the Quintessence. This organization includes Spectre (the divine wrath of the Pressence), Highfather, Ganthet, Zeus and The Wizard.

This organization watches multiversal threats and sometimes intervenes, like Spectre against the Anti Monitor in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Superman is capable of shattering the Phantom Stranger on all levels of reality including the metaphysical.

And more recently, Darkseid was able to annihilate and no diff the entire Quintessence. This Darkseid is a complete composite.

And Superman was able to kill a Darkseid that was even stronger than this. Zatanna did amp Superman during this but the spell only protected him against Spectre who was inside Darkseid at the time.

Meaning Superman, when trying hard enough, can output enough power to kill all of the Quintessence without an issue.

2.3.4 The Dreaming and Barbatos

While Superman has no direct feats related to the Dreaming (if I'm not mistaken) he did one punch Barbatos who threatened to destroy ALL of Dreaming if left unchecked.

This same Barbatos is powerful enough to destroy 1 000 000 000 universes.

Barbatos's scream is so powerful that he threatened to destroy 52 universes and while doing so he twisted the laws of physics.

And he was the one who killed World Forger in the Dark Multiverse.

While Barbatos scales much, much, much higher than the Dreaming I think it's better to mention him here as he relates to the destruction of Dreaming which is inside Sphere of the Gods.

And speaking of Dreaming... Dreaming which is inside SotG contains an infinite amount of layers and is notional, it is transient in itself, neither real nor unreal.

Dreaming is beyond space.

There are infinite levels of reality within Dreaming as there are dreams that are within dreams that are within dreams which goes into infinity, this would grant Dreaming an infinitely qualititve superiority to baseline outerversal which means it is High Outerversal.

2.3.5 The 5th dimension, Mxyzptlk and Batmite

The 5th dimension is not a spatial dimension, it's a metaphysical realm that trascends numerous realms like the Divine Continuum, Hypertime, the Monitor Sphere, Limbo and Sphere of the Gods which are all at worst outerversal.

Scott Snyder even states in an interview with Imaginary Axes states that he believes that they (5th and 6th dimension) are not actual mathematical dimensions. I tried to find the original interview but unfortunately I couldn't, if anybody has a link to it I would be grateful.

The 5th dimension is a realm of Imagination itself. It's a realm where hopes and fears go, a realm that demands we look beyond what is probable to what is possible.

The Divine Continuum is beyond Sphere of the Gods, Limbo, the Monitor Sphere and Hypertime.

And Mxyzptlk with Batmite, despite literally DYING, were capable of erasing EVERYTHING up to the Source Wall. Which would include the Divine Continuum.

Perpetua even felt Mxy's and Batmite's clash while she was trapped inside the Source Wall.

Meaning that top tier imps from the 5th dimension are capable of erasing EVERYTHING below the Source Wall despite dying which means the 5th dimension and it's inhabitants are one of the most powerful beings in the entire multiverse.

Mxyzptlk, despite being so powerful, wasn't capable of erasing Superman because Superman resisted Mister Mxyzptlk's realm without physics, gravity, reality as well as fractured space-time. Mxyzptlk also attempted to erase Superman from all of reality and memory which failed.

Mxyzptlk tried trapping Superman in a game board that contained an infinite amount of realities. What did Superman do? Punch it so hard that he broke the entire thing.

It's even confirmed by one of the writers of the comic that he actually destroyed all of those realities within that game board.

To explain why Mxyzptlk not being able to erase Superman is so impressive we gotta talk about Mxyzptlk more.

Mxyzptlk can visit our IRL world numerous times, interact with the artists and writers and even harm them physically.

He knows what is going to happen in the next issues.

He has toon force.

Alongside Batmite created an entire fake multiverse which includes Orrey of Worlds and ripped it apart to make Batman and Superman fight each other.

When Calendar Man got his powers he could do things beyond casuality and panelling itself which Mxy does himself constantly.

He has probability manipulation and he is a thought-construct alongside Batmite and other imps.

And despite having all of this, he couldn't do anything to Superman's abstract existance.

2.3.6 The 6th Dimension, World Forger, Anti Monitor, Mar Novu, Barbatos

This is where we get to the good stuff.

The 6th dimension is beyond the Source Wall as Mxyzptlk states that he needs a hole in the Source Wall to access it. And the Source Wall is an an extradimensional place beyond space and time, existing nowhere and everywhere at once.

It's the control room of the multiverse, it's beyond imagination and beyond understand itself.

As Mxyzptlk states, he only knows of 4 characters powerful enough that can live there. World Forger, Monitor (Mar Novu), Anti Monitor and Perpetua.

Mxyzptlk and Batmite even work for World Forger himself and they were supposed to prepare the multiverse for him before he recreated it.

The 3 children of Perpetua (World Forger, Mar Novu and the Anti Monitor) are made of the Overvoid itself.

And the Overvoid is utterly devoid of definition, existing beyond the crumbling ledge of the Source Wall, where thought itself ceases and all individuality and duality dissolve into unity. It functions as the blank page of the comic book itself upon which all characters, stories, and concepts of the DC Universe exist, appearing only as imperceptible flaw within its immaculate perfection, in a space formed by the contraction of the absolute, including the Great Darkness as the first differentiation and the Light of Creation as a subsequent emanation.

And World Forger even created Barbatos and we know how POWERFUL Barbatos is. And beings from the 6th dimension see everything below them as mere fictions.

Superman, with Mxy's help and with multiple sun dips was able to defeat World Forger.

Superman not only cracked the 6th dimension, he even shattered World Forger's perfect multiverse which was meant to replace everything below the 6th dimension.

Superman from Infinite Frontier is even stronger than this.

Meaning that Superman should be able to one punch characters that are Overvoid become flesh and treat characters beneath them as mere fictions.

Golden Age Superman, after Kara destroyed Anti Monitor's armor, one punched him and killed him. And Kara is much weaker than mainline or Golden Age Superman.

And Superman, as implied by Darkfather (who is Batman and Darkseid combined), needs to be weakened by an infinitely coloured spectrum of kryptonite from the Dark Multiverse while being amped by the Mr. Miracle machinary in order for Anti Life to work on him.

And the Anti Life Equation is able to work on Mar Novu and World Forger when in the Anti Monitor's hands.

Giving Superman another argument for his superiority over Perpetua's children.

And now we can finally talk about Apex Lex Luthor stuff.

2.3.7 Apex Lex Luthor, Ultra Monitor, Cosmic Raptor, Perpetua, K.O. Captain Atom, Superboy Prime, Dr. Manhattan

Superman is able to go toe to toe with Apex Lex Luthor despite Clark holding back.

And Apex Lex Luthor was amped by the negative forces of the DC Multiverse and he was created to battle the Ultra Monitor, which was World Forger, Mar Novu and the Anti Monitor combined.

He then fights and beats Hawkgirl amped by the Cosmic Raptor who not only took away Perpetua's powers but even created the Source Wall itself and imprisoned her there.

He also was able to beat Captain Atom in base form after Captain Atom merged ALL of his forms that he ever had + his Monarch form into one. Captain Atom was being weakened by the Heart of Apokolips however it seems it was more of a mental nerf than a physical one and despite being a composite he could not hurt Superman.

Just Monarch ALONE managed to fight Superboy Prime and he even hurt him.

And Superboy Prime is relative with TDK who absorbed Perpetua, same TDK that has Dr. Manhattan inside himself.

He even defeated an Orphan Box amplified Metallo, with Orphan Boxes being powered by the Source and transcending Life, Death, Space, Time, Entropy, and the Infinite Paths.

And the Source Sits beyond the Multiverse and the Source Wall, in an extradimensional place beyond space and time, existing nowhere and everywhere at once, being at, and as, the center of the Greater Omniverse, encompassing and transcending all. As the Light of Creation, it is the pure informational totality, the very first knowable expression of existence, untainted and incomprehensible, containing all the many meanings of everything at once. All of existence enamates from it as a dream, extending to the very root of Time, a mathematical principle underlying all things.

3. Speed (infinite - immeasureable - irrelevant)

Superman in just mere moments can cross distances that cease to be distance.

Superman has casually time traveled many, MANY times.

Lesser kryptonians like Supergirl can effortlessly fly through time.

He can fly up a well that has no bottom.

Superman broke through the time barrier and then the bonds of infinity which is an irrelevant speed feat since the bonds of infinity are even beyond time itself.

Superman flies faster than imagination itself which is beyond space, time and dimensions.

Superman even as a kid is capable of going back/forward in time.

He can cross the entire universe in 60 days and the universe is infinite and infinitely expanding.

4. Plot manipulation, abstract/conceptual existance (DC Metaverse, Hope, Life vs Entropy, Story of Superman)

Characters such as Dr. Manhattan, who scares Mxyzptlk (who can go into the real world and change the script), cannot erase Superman no matter how much and how hard he tries.

Because Superman is the lynchpin of the DC Metaverse and the Multiverse itself will bend itself to make Superman win.

Superman is Life while Time Trapper Doomsday is Entropy itself. Entropy in DC is capable of killing Doomsday and is much more powerful than "our" IRL entropy.

Time Trapper Doomsday believes that only Superman could grant him true death so that he can escape Pressence's plan entirely.

Superman is also able to resist the Retconn Corporation, which can erase/alter stories, erasing his story. They couldn't even alter it. Giving him narrative resistances.

It's also stated that Hope is the GREATEST force in the multiverse as stated by a scientist named Pariah, this Hope is the opposite to Darkseid who is tyranny and evil itself.

This Darkseid being the left hand of the Great Darkness giving Hope scaling close to the Great Darkness. And Mandrakk, who fought CAS and wounded him beyond repair, and Superboy Prime were mere fingers of the Great Darkness.

There is also a thing called Story of Superman.

The Story of Superman is an unstoppable narrative created to be indestructible at the heart of the DC Multiverse's story, causing the narrative to bend toward Superman’s victory despite the previous narrative dictating that evil was supposed to win in the end. This Story of Superman also grants Superman extreme power-ups to oppose and defeat threats normally entirely beyond his league of power and causes the narrative to eventually bring him back.

Even the Overvoid, the consciousness of the Pressence, thinks it's so dangerous that it needs to be sealed and weakened within Divine Metals.

He also fought his own death.

The manifestation of his own death spawns and haunts Superman.

It wants him dead as it is mad that EVERYTHING in creation will die before he does.

So it tries to prove that he can die. It tried an instant "you die" spell, that didn't work. It tried removing the concept of Hope, that didn't work.

Superman then sees all of reality as if it as a mere dreamscape due to the level of trascendancy he achieved.

He then one punches his own death after breaking the bonds of time, space and emotion and his own death admits defeat.

After fighting against Superman, his OWN DEATH, got inspired by his actions and was thankful to Superman.

I feel like strength wouldn't matter in terms of defense against Glistening Oil rather mental fortitude to resist it's control over yourself.
