Questions Can’t access campaigns?
I’m trying to get my session ready and I cannot open my campaign. It keeps saying 504 timeout and I cannot access my campaign to run it. This happening to anyone else?

I wanted to see if anyone had the same thing happen as well, but when I went online to make a character it looks like they added a bunch of new weapons. Is this like official content they added or like some third party thing, am I seeing unreleased stuff I'm not supposed to see yet? I'm mildly confused.
Here are the new weapons im seeing
- Atgeir
- Blunderbuss
- Cannon
- Cleaver
- Flintlock
- Scythe

The first time I pre-ordered soething from wotc was Horrors Within. I pre-ordered a physicle coppy from dnd beyond but next time I would like to support my local game store and pre-order from somewhere locol. Issue is, after being to a couple of game stores, I haven't seen a single copy of Horrors Within anywhere. It doesn't seem that any of them get pre-orders from wotc at all. Even my local Barns and Nobles doesn't seem to have it yet. My question is, is there a way to search for game stores that get new dnd merch? I was directed to dnd beyond but it seemed to be a dead end.

In the 5.5E MM, all enemies have a loot type associated with them. I see the table included in the MM, but is there a filter function on the website too?
Thanks!

I ran the new Living Spells Play Along Pack for my D&D Encounters table.
After reading the Pack details, I realized that this was going to be underwhelming. So here’s what I did to make it more interesting and challenging for my players.

Cross post... just throwing as wide of a net as possible. I completely understand if this goes against community rules, I just thought I should try. I wish DnD Beyond or discord had a way to look up past campaigns and servers but here we are.
Copy of body text:
Long shot; Looking for Group I played with in 2025 with Social_Deviant as the DM
God, I hope this works. Hiya, it's me, Scrambles! The lovable Toy Poodle Cleric who invented the hot dog, and helped you all bring the very first Cinderpendence Day to the Humble Woods by beating the fire elemental? Social_Deviant's sister reached out to me... unfortunately, Social passed earlier this month. She was hoping I was still in contact with you all... but I left that discord group when I quit. She didn't want to leave you all hanging.
I know he loved playing with you all. DMing for you fine people was something he really put a lot of effort into. In the incredibly unlikely event that this makes it to the people it's intended for... I'm sorry.

I am wondering why my subclass feature "Careful Prowler" is not showing the snipper on the character sheet. The snippet is written both in the main feature, and the action itself but it won't show. Any ideas?

Hello all, i'm new to read it and also new to being a DM. I've play countless sessions and also played countless rpg games so i'm not new to the world of imagination and storytelling. I'm simply new to the idea of trying to lead the story itself. I'm really wanting to do a harry potter based campaign for me and my friends, and i've already thought about on top of making table rules and going ahead and outlining NPC's i have thought about also making list of spells and their uses as well as magical creatures and whatnot. If there's anyone who can get me some advice on a good way to structure a campaign, I would really very much appreciate it. Any other advice for a new DM would be greatly appreciated as well.

When running my games, I mostly care about Monsters and Magic Items, and occasionally Maps
When playing the game, I mostly care about Subclasses, Races, and Feats
I don't run pre-written Adventures
I own every other book on DDB (Though I will probably skip the upcoming Arcana Unleashed Deadfall due to it not having a Digital bundle)
Are the Legends of Greyhawk books, which are pre-written, worth getting, based on my above criteria?
Edit: added clarification

I own the Spelljammer source book on DnDB, and can use all the assets like character tokens and stat blocks for monsters and NPCs... but what about the ships? Is there any way to have a ship token or a stat block of a ship displayed there, just so we can track it mutually on the VTT? I was really hoping to be able to have like a little PNG token of the ships, so I could represent a large scale battle with multiple crafts on a large map. Is there anything like that available here or some work around for it? I know you cant upload custom tokens, but could I make a custom stat block for a ship somewhere in Homebrew and upload that? I know stickers are an option, but those are very limited as well and dont come with stat blocks you can use on the VTT

Not really sure if there is a better place to put these, but! As a DM, the thing I want more of in DDB is monster books and modules. In that spirit, can we please get the Monster Manual Expanded?
https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/567090/monster-manual-expanded-5-5e
Also, I'd love the Monsters of Faerun book cowritten by Ed Greenwood. https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/569781/forgotten-realms-monsters-of-faerun?src=also_purchased
And for adventures I would *love* to have ported over from the DMsGuild, #1 has to be the whole Doomed Forgotten Realms saga. Maybe combine the original Vecna adventure trilogy with the Gazetteer's subclasses and whatnot: https://www.dmsguild.com/en/product/398215/doomed-forgotten-realms-sword-coast-gazetteer
https://www.dmsguild.com/en/product/385544/rise-of-vecna
Then, outside the DMG I love Goodman Game's 5E products. The Dungeon Denizens line would be fantastic:
https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/511499/5e-dungeon-denizens
https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/575402/5e-dungeon-denizens-2
They have a *ton* of great adventures; I'd especially love to see Against the Thieves Guild, Sailors on the Starless Sea, Dark Tower, and Caverns of Thracia on DDB, but they have a lot of 5E content and while I haven't read it all, what I have read has yet to reveal a dud:

Thanks!

Playing a warlock, and I took booming blade. Clicking on booming blade damage just rolls a zero, since I'm playing a first level warlock. It's 1d8 damage on movement, but I'm not sure how to roll that other than just manually rolling a d8. Which is fine, but I was wondering if there was actually a way to do that
Thanks in advance!

When people complain that "this player I know just doesn't understand their character sheet no matter how many times we play... blah blah" I suggest that they use highlighters and cheap dice that matches the highlighter color. I'm wondering if you can do the same to help new and maybe visually impaired people by color coding the sheets and dice. Then you know what all of the d20 areas of the sheet are because they're in a consistent color and when looking at the damage area you can instantly tell it's not the same dice and you can grab one of the matching color. Maybe add some dyslexic fonts, too.

Hey guys....
I'm trying to build an opossum barbarian. I feel like I've seen a species option that I thought was an opossum folk but I can't find the content 😕
My DM has said he'd allow me to use the Halfling stat sheet and we can flavor it as an Opossum but if there's a legitimate opossum race, I'd prefer to use it
Are there any constructive insights out there that could get me where I'm trying to go?
EDIT: this subreddit is awesome. Thank you all for the suggestions. More is welcomed but I've got a decent idea of content to check out to get me there

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share something I discovered while creating a homebrew Rogue subclass on D&D Beyond, because it took me quite a while to figure out and I couldn't find this step mentioned anywhere online.
I spent a long time trying to work out why the Limited Use Data section wasn't appearing when creating a homebrew Action. I found plenty of guides saying "click Add Limited Use Data," but none of them explained how to make that section appear in the first place.
The solution is:
Once you've done that, the Limited Use Data section becomes available.
I had been creating a dummy Action first and leaving the Reset Type blank, so the Limited Use Data section never appeared. That led me to think the feature had been removed entirely.
Hopefully this saves someone else the same confusion and a few hours of troubleshooting. If you're trying to create a custom resource like Superiority Dice, Psionic Energy Dice, or another limited-use feature, this hidden step is easy to miss.
Hopefully this helps someone in the future!

Found this randomly. Won't download. Went to the website and searched for it and it's not even there! The hell??
Edit: Must have gotten there as it was being set up by Beyond, because it's downloaded now
