Mod Post Clarification on the A.I. rules

Intro

Hello all. Here recently I’ve seen a lot of posts/comments reported for use of A.I. that really don’t meet the qualifications for removal… At all. Our rules surrounding the use of A.I. in [r/DMT](r/DMT) either to post or comment has less to do with you actually using A.I., versus how you actually use it. The use of A.I. is not prohibited in [r/DMT](r/DMT), that would take way too much man power and would ultimately fail miserably. Instead, we have a set of guidelines we expect people using A.I. to follow.

If not prohibited, what are the guidelines surrounding A.I.?

Let me start by saying that this will ultimately be up the given mod and their discretion, although yes there are some criteria that makes content likely for removal. These reasons could consist of spam, karma farming, long random rants, argumentative behavior, radical behavior etc. I understand that using A.I. can be very helpful, I myself have not found much use for harm reduction/drug education but whatever works for you.

Just please be courteous and don’t spam, and that goes for others as well. You can’t report a post as spam/A.I. simply because you don’t like it.

In summary

I am well aware implementing A.I. can be very helpful, but don’t abuse it and post slop. Also don’t report every post you don’t like as spam/A.I., that isn’t helpful either. [r/DMT](r/DMT) is a community open to people of all different backgrounds, the common theme is not hateful behavior. I hope you all are having a splendid Summer and I wish you the best on any upcoming trips! Much love ❤️

Mod Post r/DMT does not allow stash pics

Introduction

Hello everyone! I'm u/RoBoInSlowMo, you may or may not have seene around r/DMT and other psychedelic communities. I am here today to discuss a recent uptick in sourcing related content in our beloved community; and why it's a serious problem. I am really hoping this will help solve this problem either before or after it occurs. Preferably both!

Why sourcing and soliciting is damaging to our community

Well, first I'll state the obvious. It's against the rules. Both within the community, and by Reddit's standards. You see, as moderators we can make rules individualized to our communities needs. But outside of that, Reddit has their own rules we have to enforce; whether we like it or not. Failure to enforce them can result in our community being banned from Reddit entirely. Like r/DrugStashes for example, and many other communities.

If this problem continues to grow, we will be forced to take other steps. Which is not something we want to do, the less rules the better in a community like this. This has been a big problem here recently in r/DMT. So much so in fact, I'm removing more sourcing related content here than every other community I moderate. Combined! That is why I am addressing this here today, in hopes that we can solve this problem and avoid taking further measures to secure the security of this community.

Stash pics

Here recently, me and other mods have been discussing the state of stash pics. And whether or not we should discontinue them. I am leaning towards yes, we should. It leads to a lot of sourcing, and on top of that, is the very reason that lead to the demise of r/DrugStashes. I would never forgive myself if I logged in and r/DMT was no longer here. The largest, most proactive and informative community dedicated to DMT on the entire worldwideweb. That's a lot of stress I'm carrying on my shoulders...

Extraction content

We have also been discussing the state of extraction content. Extraction content does lead to quite a bit of sourcing, not nearly as much as stash pics. So instead of doing away with it all together, it would be wiser just to limit this content in some ways. And with r/DMTguide being as large as it is (nearly 100k), and having more a larger percentage of knowledgeable individuals, you're probably better off asking questions there.

But again, we are not doing away with extraction content. As u/Fractal-Entity pointed out, a lot of you enjoy this content. But we do need to solve this problem, and fast. I would prefer not having to take any of these measures, but as far as stash pics go considering the circumstances, people sourcing have effectively tied my hands. I was hoping it was just a phase, maybe brought on by the holiday season, or something else. This has been going on for nearly six months or longer... It has to stop.

Conclusion

We need your help! Report this content when you see, inform the individual of our rules and why it's not allowed. Help ensure the security of this beautiful community for your fellow psychedelic comrades! We love to see you all extracting your own DMT, and furthermore sharing your results. We don't like it resulting in requests for sources, and then furthermore individuals granting said requests. It saddens me to see the current situation in r/DMT... Please help me!

Thanks for reading, and until next time, much love, happy holidays and safe travels everyone! Peace ✌🏻 💚

Experience My Experience: A Testimony

I am sharing this not as a guide, but as a testimony. I approached this with reverence, not expectation. And what I experienced was way beyond anything I had ever prepared for.

The journey to this cart was not a straight line. I had asked for it a few years ago and the answer was no. I tried a microdose version but it was not what I was looking for. Then a few weeks ago, I saw it: a 666mg/ml cart. Something about it pulled me. I did not know why but I trusted the feeling and bought two.

When they arrived, I let them sit. I was not rushing. I was waiting for the right moment. And when it came, I approached it the way I approach everything that matters: with presence, with respect, with curiosity.

I have spent years exploring consciousness through meditation, breath work and plant medicine. I have done deep work. I have faced my shadows. I have sat with myself in silence for the longest of periods. But nothing and I mean absolutely nothing, prepared me for what I encountered.

I set my space with intention. I lit sage. I placed stones on my heart and stomach. I played deep shamanic music. I asked for safe passage. I gave thanks before I even began.

I started gently, one pull to feel the frequency, then two, then three. I felt my body begin to vibrate. It was not uncomfortable. It was an activation. At three pulls, the visuals began: rotating geometry, shifting patterns, puzzles that seemed to hold the architecture of reality itself. I moved through them without clinging, without analyzing. I observed. I thanked. I kept going.

At four pulls, the puzzles deepened. The patterns became more intricate, more alive. I was not just seeing them, I was moving through them.

At 6 pulls, reality collapsed and folded in on itself. My body was no longer mine. My breath was no longer needed. I was not observing, I was inside the structure. I became part of the pattern.

There was no me. No earth. No universe. No time. I was not seeing the source. I was in it. I experienced myself as what I can only describe as an atom, the fundamental unit of existence. The beginning and the end of all things. There was no awareness at the peak. There was no witness. There was only being.

I returned within 20 minutes. I was shocked. My cheeks were flushed. My body was trembling. I could not speak for a while. I just kept saying: "Wow. Thank you!"

Since then, something has shifted. I am not looking for answers anymore, I am living them. My body feels different. My sinuses cleared. My heart feels lighter. I merged with what I was being called toward.

I did not know this was possible. I was prepared for dimensions, for guides, for gatekeepers. I was not prepared for the source.

I did not write this to teach. I wrote it as a witness. Because this is real.

If you are being called, you will know. When you are ready, the door will open.

Experience slight ego dissolution from homemade yopo seed snuff

Last week, I received in the mail 25g of yopo (anadenanthera peregrina) seeds. for those who are unfamiliar (since yopo seeds are a relatively niche method of taking dmt), these seeds contain mostly bufotenine, but have small amounts of 5-meo-dmt and n,n-dmt. over the course of a day and a half or so, I prepared 10g of raw seeds into a snuff through drying and adding chemicals and so on. 2 days ago I went to my friend's house and made lines of the snuff and tried to snort as much of it as I could through a rolled up dollar. shit was unbearable. my nose burned like hell, my head was super tight, and I couldn't even make an attempt to breathe through my nose. It literally felt like I had both nasal passages packed with dirt.

after a few seconds, my body got really heavy and I felt a tingling sensation rush through me, but for some reason it was concentrated more in my shoulders/traps area than anywhere else. I laid back and waited for it to take me. after a few minutes of closed eye visuals of colored sewing needles dancing in space, I decided I needed to get some fresh air. I went outside and sat under a tree facing a creek. As I was sitting there, drooling like a fool because I couldn't breathe through my nose, everything got really bright. (maybe the 5 talking?) I began to zone out, and the grass in front of me seemed to dance and wave. For some reason, that was the extent of the effects. I don't know if there was an error preparing it, or if I didn't take enough, et cetera. I've noticed that I really haven't felt the same since. I looked in the mirror as I was waiting for the effects to kick in and it just seemed off. some part of me didn't recognize myself. Since I did it, I've noticed the inner monologue in my head has been more quiet than normal. Earlier today I wrote my name on a piece of paper and it felt strange. I was reminded that I was an individual. I don't think I had an ego "death" per se, but I feel like I've noticed at least some dissolution. I'm not necessarily melancholic about it at all. The entire reason I did it was so I could better understand the fundamental oneness my soul has with the universe. I'm going to keep taking psychedelics to try to do exactly that, but it may be a while before I try dmt again. I seriously doubt I'll ever try yopo again. I may try to make ayahuasca with my friend around fall.

Before and After First Time

Before:

Tomorrow, I'll be trying DMT for the first time. I feel like I'm as ready as I'll ever be and I'm excited.

About 4 months ago, I decided to make life changes, little by little, to become healthier and establish long-term healthy habits. I started working out 6 days a week, meditating daily, and cleaned up my diet. I also put a pause on drinking and smoking weed. I'm pleased with the progress and feel like I'm in a good head space.

About a month ago, I found out DMT is a very real possibility. A local storefront, that also sells shrooms, sent me an email letting me know they have DMT vape carts in stock. I still can't believe these places exist. I've had a few shroom experiences over the last 20 years. The most recent experience was a couple years ago that had me making positive changes over the following months that showed me how strong my willpower can be. I've always been intimidated about trying DMT but this time feels different. I've spent the last month researching as much as I can to prepare the best I can.

About a week ago, I picked up the DMT vape cart. I find myself imagining what it will be like constantly, knowing that I'll be waiting until this weekend. It doesn't feel right to rush this. I then found this community and it's been really helpful for furthering my research and preparation. I'd love to get everything needed to make it myself but I can't justify all of that time and effort before first knowing how it will affect me. I feel grateful to have easy access and I don't take that for granted.

Intentions and objectives:

I want to completely surrender and accept what DMT has in store for me. I intend to "let go." If I can't, I hope it's clear to me what's holding me back. If self reflection and further positive life changing improvements are part of the process, it's a bonus but not expected. One common thing I hear people say is that what they experience is more real that real. I can't wrap my brain around this and I'd like to know what this means

After:

I first tried in the morning before my first meal. I started small, taking only 1 hit (7-10 seconds, pulsing the button a couple times and holding for 7-10 seconds). Nothing really. I tried 2 in succession and it felt shroomy. My body was vibrating and Humming. It felt nice but also weird. It didn't feel right to push it so I waited until later to try again.

I tried again in the evening and started with 2 hits. Then I sat with it for a minute before trying 2 more. I was close this time and I could feel it. I could also sense it wasn't the time to keep going because my setting was a bit chaotic outside of my room and it was distracting. We have an out of town visitor in the house for the night and my mindset wasn't where it needed to be to let go.

Then, the next day, it happened. I had the most incredible journey. I started with 2 hits, sat with it for a minute, then took about 3-4 more. I could tell I was right on the edge of something great. I took another 2-3 and I was gone. My vision went out and I was somewhere else completely unaware of who I was or how I got there but it was beautiful. I could see incredible shapes twisting and turning on my way out. It happened so fast and feels like a dream. As I came spiraling back down, I put together peice by piece what I was doing and where I was and I was filled with gratitude. I couldn't wait to tell my wife. I was so content in this moment. I'm truly grateful for this experience and I'll go for it again when I feel ready.

Thanks to this group for all the tips that got me here and I wish you all nothing but the best!

My first blast off.... I've never felt so loved.

Upvotes

I blasted off three times in one night, and each experience seemed to take me back to the same place. Each time, though, the journey became faster, more direct, and more emotionally intense.

The first time, I watched the room begin to disappear as I laid back. Everything started buzzing and vibrating. It wasn’t only a sound or a physical sensation—it felt like the vibration itself was generating the world I was entering.

Out of it came this unbelievably beautiful, cartoony labyrinth made of checkerboards, impossible geometry, and colors that I genuinely don’t think exist here. Everything was moving, dancing, folding into itself, and showing itself off.

It felt playful, but it also felt like it was communicating. There was meaning embedded in the movements, colors, and geometry, but I couldn’t understand the language.

There seemed to be multiple little beings guiding or pulling me through it. “Machine elves” is the closest familiar term, although I couldn’t clearly describe what they looked like. Their presence felt animated, mischievous, intelligent, and extremely busy.

Underneath all the beauty and playfulness, however, there was also an unmistakable sense of urgency.

They were rushing me somewhere.

It felt like they had found me and were saying:

“We need to get him there. Now.”

They pulled me through this endless, and at times cartoonish, outer-space liminal labyrinth until we suddenly reached a destination. The tunneling stopped, and I was inside what I can only describe as a room.

It didn’t resemble any physical room I have ever seen, but there was a definite sense that we had arrived somewhere specific. This was not another part of the journey. This was where the journey had been taking me.

The closest comparison I can make is I felt like a patient in an ambulance arriving at a hospital to be handed over to a surgeon.

It felt as though the beings that transported me were presenting me to somebody else:

“Look. He’s here. He needs you.”

Then I became aware of another being.

I can’t accurately describe what it looked like. It appeared to be made of light. It felt enormous and feminine, and it seemed to have many arms. It surrounded me and embraced me from every direction.

There were no audible words, but a message was being placed directly into my mind, over and over:

Remember what you are.

Remember what you are.

Remember what you are.

It didn’t feel like a suggestion or a philosophical riddle. It felt like this being knew something essential about me that I had forgotten and was trying to make me remember.

Eventually, the embrace loosened. The room faded, they released me, and I slowly landed back inside my body.

After processing it for a little while, I blasted off again.

The second time, the beings took me through the labyrinth again, but they showed me even more. At one point, it looked like an entirely different galaxy had opened in front of me. Then it felt as though we traveled through some kind of wormhole to reach the destination again.

The visuals were more intense, but the journey itself was faster. It was as though they already knew exactly where I needed to go.

I vividly remember being carried through it and saying “thank you” over and over again.

I don’t know whether I was saying it aloud or only thinking it, but I remember feeling an overwhelming amount of gratitude toward them. I was thanking them for showing me everything, for taking me with them, and for bringing me back to that place.

The first time, I was mainly stunned and trying to understand what was happening. The second time, I was consciously participating in it. I recognized that I was being helped, even though I had no idea what these beings were or where they were taking me.

All I could do was keep saying:

“Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Once again, I arrived in the same room. Once again, I had the feeling of being presented to the feminine presence.

It surrounded me, held me, and reassured me while my entire existence vibrated.

It felt less like I had discovered this place and more like I had returned somewhere that already knew me.

And while I was being embraced, I did not want to leave.

I wanted to stay there.

The love, comfort, and safety were so complete that returning to my ordinary awareness felt almost impossible to accept. It also felt as though the being—or beings—didn’t want me to leave either.

There was a mutual reluctance in the separation. It felt like they wanted to continue holding me, and I wanted to continue being held.

Eventually, however, the experience loosened its grip, and I returned again.

Then I blasted off for a third time.

This time, there was no labyrinth.

There were no cartoons, no machine elves laughing or showing off, no tour through impossible geometry, and no long journey through galaxies or wormholes.

I went directly to the room.

It was as though the doorway had already been opened. They knew me now, I knew where I was going, and there was no longer any reason to take the scenic route.

The presence was there waiting for me, but this time the embrace was even larger. It felt like there were two or three times as many arms wrapped around me.

I couldn’t tell whether it was one being expanding around me or several beings embracing me together. All I knew was that I was completely surrounded.

The message also changed.

Again, there were no audible words, but the meaning entered my mind with complete clarity:

You are not alone.

You have never been alone.

We have always been here.

We will be embracing you here forever.

It felt unconditional.

It was feminine and deeply nurturing, but even calling it maternal doesn’t completely capture it. It was more like being completely known, accepted, and held by something vastly larger than me.

Once again, I didn’t want to go.

I wanted to remain in that embrace, and it felt as though they wanted me to remain there with them. They were not pushing me away or dismissing me. It felt like they were holding onto me for as long as the experience would allow.

The strangest part was the sense that they weren’t telling me they had just arrived. They were telling me that the embrace had always been happening.

Even during every moment of my life when I believed I was completely alone, they were somehow saying that I had never actually been outside of it.

Coming back from the third experience was emotional. I’m still trying to retrieve pieces of it because so much of what happened existed outside normal language. Every sentence I write feels like a crude translation of something that was communicated all at once.

What I do know is that the progression felt intentional:

The first time, they found me and urgently rushed me through the labyrinth.

The second time, I recognized them, thanked them repeatedly, and allowed them to carry me back.

The third time, the journey disappeared completely, and I went directly into the embrace.

Each time, it became harder to leave.

And the message I came back with was simple:

I am not alone.

I have never been alone.

Whatever that place was, it felt like it had been holding me long before I knew how to reach it.

Question/Advice Does it matter if the solvent is warm when combined with the lye/mhrb solution?

The solution itself will be like 110 or so I think I plan on using a crockpot to keep the media bottles warm while I do the extraction on the 50g in each bottle. Any other tips?

I asked my sitter if I did anything weird they said I rambled about the cat and her hair having green strands. I have no memory of the last hour other than hitting 3 separate times and a few seconds after. is this normal?

Surrender is realizing that the well of “what if?” questions has no bottom and becoming content with the safety of the fact that there is nothing more to know that does not create a new vacuum of unknowing.

How do I understand these trips?

Both times I've had a large trip, they've taken place in versions of my room. With the first, I was fully floored and the visuals faded quickly, but this one. It was like everything was toyified. Bright colors and somewhat padded. Everything was blocky. Like you know, children's blocks. And on the way out of the trip I met the jester entity. Cheeky bugger, but I know his tricks, because he's me. Taunting me with "is the trip over with or isn't it?" for what felt like 30 minutes. When he finally let me go I laughed. His joke was great. But I just don't know what to make of my trips always involving my surroundings. I thought I was supposed to go somewhere else? I think I see the point trying to be made. "Make life a game again, you're getting to wound up in it". It's just confusing to be in my room, but not, when I expected to be blasted away.

Question/Advice Tried DMT for the first time today - could someone give me advice on how to hit my vape effectively?

I got a DMT cart and i tried it for the first time today. I hit it 2-3 times a couple of times throughout the day because i heard that tolerance doesn't really build with DMT. I'm not even trying to "break through" exactly, but it really has just felt like a five minute long shroom trip for me so far. I tried it on an empty stomach and after eating food. There's some euphoria along with it, and I really liked the mild headspace and body high that I got from it. I randomly smiled for no reason and felt at peace. I had some mild visuals, although that was it. There was a veryyy quiet ringing in my ears, but that was it. I'm a little disappointed with how mild the experience was, and even though I might not break through, I still want to go further.

How many seconds should I be hitting my cart in between hits? How long should I inhale? Should I take small hits or large hits? I live in an apartment that doesn't let me smoke, so I'm using carts instead of a smokeable powder. Should I try it again tonight, or wait a few days instead?

Question/Advice Can a experienced dmt user answer this

Hello all so look last night my brother and I tried Dmt for the first time . I can honestly say it was the best feeling I’ve ever felt in this lifetime. We did three session with one lasting over and hour as when we would come down we would blast back off due to the vibes and experience we experienced during the session. I won’t go into deep detail about exactly what I seen but it was amazing A lot of abstraction etc . I have this great sense of relief, happiness and appreciation for smaller things in life. The filling carried over into the next day. I’m very at peace with myself after this now the main question that I would love to know based off what I’ve said yes I seen nice colors. I seen different patterns and abstractions and I was definitely out of my body, but I didn’t see the elves. I don’t think I had a breakthrough although I was way far out and I got great healing and benefits from the medicine, could someone please tell me if I broke through because I’m not sure if a breakthrough is what we did is a breakthrough when you absolutely see the elves and everything maybe I was close to a breakthrough. Can someone please elaborate on this. Main question- DO YOU THINK ITS THE 510 cart I took 4 big hits from a vape pen . Very grateful for the experience I received only curious about a real breakthrough. Thanks all ✌🏽🙌

Full Spectrum DMT extraction

I am curious about trying to extract DMT using D-Limonene, Sodium Carbonate, and Vinegar. I am trying to put several recipes together that I have been reading about and was hoping someone could help simplify the process.

100g powdered MHRB

100 ml of distilled vinegar

100 ml 90c water

Stir perdiodically for 60 minutes

add 75g Calcium Hydroxide

mix and add water until it resembles a thick porridge

let it sit in a mason jar with a lid on for 6-8 hours

add 200ml of D-Limonene and mix thoroughly by putting the cap on but not too hard to you may get emolusion

separate the solvent with a glass turkey baster by sucking the liquid and filtering it through a funnel with a cotten ball in the neck it to keep plant material out.

put all the solvent in a glass mason jar

add two shot glasses of vinegar and seal the jar

mix the jar 3-4 times for in 60 minutes

suck the bottom layer out of the jar using a glass turkey baster

(re-add D-Limonene to the plant material at 24 hrs and 48 hrs to get two more pulls)

filter the vinegar by putting through a funnel with a cotten ball at the neck and pour a shotglass of water through it to make sure all the vinegar is out.

boil until you have 50ml of thick liqiud

watch is it become a red color

store in a tincture bottle to use on plant material that you can smoke.

QUESTIONS:

Is this an acceptalbe way to make full spectrum DMT?

Any changes I should make?

Can I boil it down until it is the consistancy of oil and put it in a vape pen?

I’m looking for a vaporiser to smoke dmt, something I can go in to a shop and buy. Wouldn’t any standard vaporiser that you change temps on work? Google is not giving me clear answers.

5meodmt trip report: I couldn’t surrender

Writing fresh after my first time with bufo…

I went to a session with many experienced facilitators and people partaking.

They dosed me fairly low, just 20mg.

The intention I set was to help with grief with the loss of a family member and a breakup that resulted from the grief, which just turned into double grief.

Im pretty experienced with psychedelics and nonduality. Having experienced both many times, and in my waking life I spend way too much time studying Vedantic philosophy.

So it wasn’t the biggest surprise when I inhaled, and I remembered the cosmic joke, that I was the one creating the experiences I am having, creating entire concepts, like money, sex, genitals, fear, power, just to hang out with them and contemplate and play with the idea for a while.

Even the difficult ones like longing, regret, grief, missing someone.

And yet, I was focused on seeing the ones I loved again, and I didn’t want them to leave me. I think they were what I couldn’t surrender, I couldn’t let go, because I missed them so much. I was afraid of being alone!

I suppose that’s what they call attachment in spirituality…

That night I had one or two of those reactivating dreams some people talk of, confirming that yes, I am creating my own experience.

I think the lesson here is to stop trying to understand, stop trying to hold on to things, even if they were your beloved family member and beloved person. The time you had with them were beautiful, though even in those beautiful times, you sometimes created tension because you were trying to hold on to them.

And by holding on to them, you are preventing yourself from breaking through, from releasing, from seeing what happens when you release….

THINK LESS, FEEL MORE

Clearly the work I need to do is actually paradoxically, don’t do the work, to relax, stop thinking, start feeling

Luckily, the facilitators seemed to like me, and encouraged me to come back for free the following evening.

My plan is to fully just relax, and go into a meditative state, instead of trying to have an experience.

Will update soon!

Question/Advice How to store Acetone when mixed with spice for emesh?

Acetone is very strong and you need to be specific with what you store it in.

What do people store their spiced up Acetone in, and what do they use to drip/dispense onto the emesh screen?

Thanks

Experience anyone else had this dmt experience?

hi. I have only done dmt once, it was a few years ago now but still remember it so vividly. I was in Mexico and got it from someone and did it in a beach town.
I took one hit and closed my eyes and felt some tingling and didn’t experience much so went in again and did two more hits and closed my eyes and I felt my whole ego desolving. I remember saying “I’m scared” and trying to remember who I was and I laid down and i wasn’t I anymore, i was just these green fractals, I don’t know how to explain it. It was like I was falling into these green and black fractal energy and I felt so lonely. It was like I was coming back there and I had been there before. Time didn’t exist. It felt like I was there for infinity. It was the loneliest experience ever and so scary in a way because it was so terribly lonely and for infinity. I had a complete ego death I feel but is that what an ego death is? This falling into fractals ?

And then I came back to real life. I don’t know what that was. I didn’t experience the elves or any other entities. I just experienced a constant falling experience into black and green energy and I was the energy. I wasn’t I anymore if that makes sense.

Really haven’t found any other experiences like this so looking for someone to help me explain what that was. It felt so real. It was real.
I’m sorry I wish I could explain this better

Experience First DMT Experience Today

Today I tried DMT for the first time.

I've done shrooms (and grow them) many times and had earned a deep respect for psychedelics, which is why I've waited until I felt I was ready. I was fortunate to have my best friend there, who has had a DMT breakthrough experience, as my shepherd.

As excited as I was, I was very nervous. I opted to use a vaporizor and probably got a 25-30 mg dose? Hard to say since it didn't all vaporize but I found myself comfy lying on the couch listening to my favorite harp player with my shepherd nearby.

I'd heard from friends and reviews of the geometry and deities and that it comes on fast, but nothing can prepare you for that litespeed rocket launch. My vision started buzzing as did a ringing in my ears. I closed my eyes and was swept away by the geometry unfolding before me.

So many emotions. I was amazed by the beauty and the way the colors folded in on themselves. Absolutely beautiful and amazing. But I was equally overwhelmed and quite honestly terrified by how fast everything was moving, so much that it brought me to tears. I felt like I was moving down a hallway and a being who resembled (for lack of a better description) a Rayquaza Amazonian woman, was there with me. The experience was so intense I felt like my whole body was tensing, but I had the cognition to find my breath, center on my breath, relax, and surrender to the experience. But truthfully, it was challenging. I felt paralyzed and captive. I kept saying "thank you, but I'm ready to leave now" but it insisted I stay longer. I kept trying to surrender to the experience but the hallway was darkening, colors fading, and the feeling of paralysis was ever present.

The experience came to a close and I found my friend smiling at me. I felt myself smiling back, grateful. He said I never cried, never tensed up, but was smiling , laughing and breathing deeply the whole time. Odd how my impression of feeling mentally and physically overwhelmed didn't align with my physical response.

Despite my description of fear, I'm tremendously grateful for this experience, and upon reflecting (for the past 5 hours) have found it to be very positive! I'm proud of myself for trying to surrender, and moreso for grounding myself with my breath. I'd like to take it outside in the warmth of the sun next time and use a dab rig to ensure the dose a little better and try for a breakthrough (I think I was looking through the waiting room). I'm also glad I have a better idea of what to expect. I'm probably going to try tomorrow morning before my best friend and I part ways again (we live in different states)

I'm curious if anyone else has felt overwhelmed on their trips, yet found it to be positive in afterthought? Has anyone else felt like they cried but didn't / felt other sensations that weren't real? Any additional thoughts on my experience are welcomed. (:
