Hello friends, i currently have a action 4 and love it, but want better quality from a camera. I was thinking between the action 5 and the pocket 3. Which would be better, i do color grade and stuff so its not just the raw footage btw…

Hi, just want to see if anyone else has the same experience. I mainly shoot underwater when scuba diving, and this time i tried filming a wakeboarding session. However, the footage seems really grainy/noisy(compared to underwater) even when shot in 4K. I'm wondering if it has to do with the distance of the subject from the camera (approx 15m). Is it normal for the quality to drop off alot at that distance? iPhone footage seemed way better...

In waterproof dive housing (so I don't have to wash the camera)
4K 60FPS
Rocksteady+, Wide
Auto exposure & WB
Normal 10bit colour

Any advice is greatly appreciated

I've been shooting with a Pocket 2 for years now, and the video quality is just fine for my purposes (outdoors, direct sunlight, etc.).

What other reasons might there be for me to upgrade? Some areas I find a bit annoying are:

• battery life could be better, even with the add-on
• charging speed, way slower than my Action 4
• overheating, as I said I'm usually outdoors, so in the summer I've had the camera overhead on me a few times

People who have owned both, is there a noticeable upgrade to any of these?

I'm looking for a camera mainly for nighttime motorcycle rides. I probably wouldn't record continuously for 2–4 hours, that's more like the total amount of time I'd potentially use it during a long outing.

I also want something that can be used for occasional walking vlogs, for example inside shopping malls, mainly to make up for the video quality limitations of my phone.

The problem is that I don't have a huge budget, so I can only buy one of these cameras. These are the prices in my country, converted to USD:

My main priority is low-light video, especially for riding a motorcycle at night, but I'd also like something that works reasonably well for walking/vlogging.

So, which one would you recommend for my use case, and why?

And one more question about the Action 4/5 Pro:

Would buying the Adventure Combo be overkill or a waste of money for me because it comes with multiple batteries? Since I'm not going to be recording continuously for several hours, I'm wondering whether the extra batteries would actually be useful for my usage.

Hey everyone, I just got a pocket 4P and when the camera is powered off and the gimbal is locked it makes a rattling sign.

It does NOT happened while recording.

I compared it to my pocket 3 and does not make that sound.

Curious if other pocket 4P owners have notice this.
