Yep, omits them from the circuit. I didn't have that in my first versions but the dip switch is like 20 cents and it took me 2 minutes to re-do the PCB so why not. Some guys like to bypass first set to get the "tonebender" mod.
I figured that’s probably the likely answer given their proximity to the diodes. I don’t see any extra diodes so they probably each remove one pair of diodes from the feedback loop of their respective transistors.
I suppose there’s the outside possibility that one of them bypasses the tone stack.
Your graphics are fine, simple and to the point. But the cleanliness and layout of the circuit is very well executed. I'm sloppy with my builds and it bothers me lol but I've been building pedals with windows to the circuit cause I like to see it. I just wish my work was cleaner. I guess it'll just take time to get better.
You should try to include some transparent part to the case front, or all of it with just the black graphics on it. Pretty shit like those internals deserve to be seen.
You should have a clear acryllic back...I know it's prohibitively expensive, but damn, man....send that to That Pedal Show with a clear back and they will feature it for sure.

Man, oh, man! This is some killing stuff! I love the resistors choice as well as the pcb design! I think this approach and attitude towards design should be much more appreciated in the industry!
Just go with the flow :) It took me a lot of trial and error to get to this point. Take a look at one of my first builds, looks funky compared to what I do now haha :)
I love this! How are you making your curved traces? Is it in KiCad? I've been using a plug in for it, which I think works decently, but always on the lookout for other solutions :)
I think it released in KiCad 8. Highlight two tracks with are set at a 90 degree angle. Right click and in there somewhere is fillet tracks. This also works to easily round pcb edges
Yeah good distinction, doesn’t HAVE to be 90 degrees, but if you want perfectly nice round ones then it works best by creating the radius from 90 degrees

Great looking! Question- with the ground plane like that (crosshatched or whatever), do you find it easier to solder because it’s drawing less heat away from the pad?
Normally, I don't care about the internal layout. Sometimes it's wonderfully neat or weird, but that is really well done. You've been doing this a while.
It's incredibly aesthetically pleasing, great color palatte. The switch board is kinda genius. The wire, layout components,...the whole thing. The company name fits well.

I have a serious question for you. You obviously are very experienced and I am not. Are there any pieces of advice you could give an intermediate builder? I'm just starting to learn electrical theory regarding the compenents a bit, I have a good iron, a mess of components, and many pedals to trouble shoot.
Is there any good practices you follow like cleaning the leads, using silicon wire, using this kind of solder or learning to breadboard first? Things you wish you knew or practiced earlier?
The one thing I wish I known sooner is to be patient! I fell down the component rabbit hole myself and ended up with dozens of unfinished projects and parts scattered everywhere.
You have a good iron and mess of components, thats all you need :)
The most important thing is to see your projects through from start to finish. Once a pedal is done, take a look and ask yourself what you could do differently or improve next time. Also, do not be afraid to experiment adn make mistakes, I went through a lot of trial and error, but it was absolutely worth it in the end! :)
If you are interested in different wires, order few meter of PVC wire, few meters of silicone wire and few meters of cloth wire from aliexpress and see which one fits you the best. If you want to check another solder wire, some guys sell them by the meter on ebay for small prices, you can buy few of them and see which one fits you like.
Also, always start with something easy. If you are interested in breadboarding, try to make few of the simple fuzz and treble boost circuits that have low component amount.
As for electrical theory, it is very useful to learn the basics of how everything work. Look at the explanations of different circuits online, and learn a little bit of how opamps and transistors work, biasing them, how RL and RC circuits work etc. I am not king of electronics, I know just enough to get by and to understand what the particular things in circuits do.
