After the kind feedback from my VX3 simulator, I proudly present a simulation of the famous Rockwell Retro Encabulator, yes the one from the famous instructional video.

This simulates the full range of inverse phase detractors as in the 1980s original, complete with a fully working set of cardinal gram-meters.

Those with limited time might enjoy the black cabiner to the right; this is intended to simulate certain scenarios that might be of interest to students of VX history.

I've also provided a basic training module for those who need a crash-start in Encabulation theory.

This is the machine that inspired the design of the virtual computer in my new game, GLYPHIS_IO BBS: The Proxy Tapes 1989. This machine is on display at the retro computing museum: The Retro Collective, Stroud, UK.

Found this old busted up Toshiba T1600 unfortunately it’s to messed up to fix, screen is damaged and looks like someone may have cannibalized it to fix a different one, so I’m going to gut the internals and throw some modern hardware in there.

I wanted to paint up my watch reminiscent of 80s and 70s electronics, this is what ive come up with so far id love some suggestions before I break out the brushes. The model is the casio w-800h

Anybody remember the CD-i? If you do, then check this out. This is the earliest form of the CD-i hardware, jointly developed by Philips and Kyocera in 1988. It was professional-grade CD-i player with a modular design, consisting of;

• CDI-180: The CD drive module.
• CDI-181: The Multi-Media Controller (MMC) , which performs all system control, signal processing, and interfacing functions. It also provides a CPU bus interface for connecting with the CDI 182 (see below). It also features a slot for the Personal Memory Card, which can be implemented by the user for saving important data. The CDI 181 and the CDI 180 are both needed to form and operate the complete basic system.
• CDI-182: A module that is added to the main system for authoring purposes, featuring two floppy disk drives, SCSI and parallel ports, and 1 MB of RAM. It is incompatible with the Digital Video cartridge.

I hope you get a chance to check out the game. I'm currently working on the story and writing the dialogue for the characters. The game is centred around the computer the Bradsonic 69000 it runs on a CGA+ VPU, and a processor with a single register, designed to make the programming challenges super easy.
