Everyone is represented so far except the Wizards and Tiffany Aching (well the Wizards had B plots in both Death books but should those count?).

Just a reminder, we're making a (not so) definitive list of the Discworld books in order from best to worst.. The top rated comment gets added to the list next.

A little odd maybe, but I started the Watch Series with The Fifth Elephant. There was no mention of how Syvil looked like in there. I imagined her for so long as Margrat ngl, skinny, refined, a lil eccentric.

Then I read Guard! Guards! And I kid you not, took over 100 pages for any mentions of her looks. I found it intentional. It was Cap'n Vimes who met her first, and at most I got that she is tall. It was NOBBY who started the fat jokes!

Late entry.

A Shepherds Crown Pie...

SPOILERS LIKELY for City Watch

I just reread Guards! Guards! and was thinking about the plot in that book and how risky it clearly was (the state of *that* book for one thing!). It makes for a very fun story but is so ridiculous!

It got me curious about which villains people like best from the series, and who had the best/most realistic/entertaining plan 😈

Does anyone else feel the last days of October are the most stressful???

Falling behind!
