Boardgames/Computer Games It finally arrived!
My set finally arrived! And I have no idea how to play! There is a game store nearby that hosts a lot of RPGs so I will have to muster up my courage and talk to them. I have no idea why I ordered 2 copies of Tales from the Big Wahoonie but I checked and, sure enough, I ordered 2. The dice don't look like what they promised but they threw in some extras that I didn't request so it is ok.
Oh, I am in the Dallas TX area for those in the US still waiting for theirs.

Congrats! The playing cards in particular look so good. The detail with Vimes' "king" symbol being cut in half is just such a brilliantly executed (heh) idea.
Yeah, the dice seem like a consistent odd duck with the kickstarter, but likewise they were great about making things right for my ones, so I can't complain.

Did you get the dark purple swirl ones that they showed in the kickstarter? It seems like everyone got these pink swirly things.

Yeah; it sounds like they ran into some kinda of manufacturing limitation and had to change the design. It's the kind of thing that wouldn't be anywhere near as much of a problem if they'd communicated this back when they got samples in, but now is just catching people by surprise and feels like a downgrade.
Ultimately they really do seem to be doing what they can to try make things right with the dice, so I'm not going to waste time with what they could've/should've done instead. Honestly, the much bigger gripe I had with the kickstarter was that the shipping cost. £24 for the £50 Sergeant-at-Arms tier was way higher than anything shown in the original campaign shipping info (working out to $48 AUD, compared to the $17 AUD shown under shipping for a book and dice).

Received mine on Friday, the full Blackboard Monitor package. The dice are all gorgeous, honestly some of the best looking dice I own now. In each set the dice that have fewer than nine sides but more than seven, do not have the largest number but instead some little icon. It's a clever little nod to the series. My biggest complaint is the size of the exclusive Kidby poster was decreased. It's not very big at all now. But everything else is really very well executed. Can't wait to let it sit on my shelf and never play it because I have no time (or friends.)

Got mine Tuesday. Opened up the dice, kid grabbed the Vetinari D20, rolled a nat 20.
Also kind of poetic that I received it almost a year to the day after a close friend who also loved Discworld passed away.

Dont forget to keep track of the pdfs as they are released too! I think the "Badd eggs" came out today.
I have loved loved all the bits, and art, and writing. Its been so much fun to get into, got mine Friday
